http://www.techradar.com/news/gamin...team-machine-presence-planned-for-gdc-1273542Valve won't be attending CES 2015, the company's vice president of marketing has confirmed to TechRadar.
Instead, Doug Lombardi said Valve is planning a large Steam Machine presence for GDC 2015.
Lombardi wouldn't say whether this means other companies besides Valve will be showing off Steam Machines at March's GDC, though it seems likely at least some of the Portal maker's myriad Steam Box partners will have a presence at the annual game dev conference.
There's still the possibility for Steam Machine makers other than Valve to show off their wares at CES in January, but Valve can be counted out.
About the game
Building on survivalist and horror themes, players in 7 Days to Die can scavenge the abandoned cities of the build-able and destructible voxel world for supplies or explore the wilderness to gather raw materials to build their own tools, weapons, traps, fortifications and shelters. In coming updates these features will be expanded upon with even more depth and a wider variety of choices to survive the increasing dangers of the world. Play alone or with friends, run your own server or join others.
7 Days to Die development was launched following a successful Kickstarter campaign in August 2013, demonstrating the initial prototype. Joining us in early access now will help support the cause and ensure continued expansion of the development team, their efforts and the planning and addition of even more features and depth eagerly awaited by fans.

Steam changes in recent days indicate that Final Fantasy XIII-2 may very well be on its way to Linux.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 was released for Windows this week while the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 ports were back from 2011~2012. The game is powered by the Crystal Tools engine.
As pointed out by Phoronix readers, SteamDB is showing changes in the Steam database for Final Fantasy XIII-2 with the mention of Linux and an OpenVR Linux. The game isn't yet advertised in the Steam store as being officially supported on Linux.
Will this be the first Final Fantasy title ported to Linux? Hopefully we'll know soon enough.

Pelo video parece-me identico.
We recently wrote about the likelihood of seeing Torchlight II on Linux, well it looks even more close now thanks to new information.
As usual, our thanks to SteamDB for their excellent resource:
2 Days AgoChanged App Config
launch/2/config/oslist: linux
launch/2/description: Torchlight II
launch/2/executable: Torchlight2.bin.x86_64
They now have an executable up for Linux, so it looks like a Linux release is extremely close now. Well, saying "extremely" sounds confirmed, but as always until they announce something we will keep an eye on it.
About Torchlight II
The award-winning action RPG is back, bigger and better than ever! Torchlight II takes you back into the quirky, fast-paced world of bloodthirsty monsters, bountiful treasures, and sinister secrets - and, once again, the fate of the world is in your hands!
Torchlight II captures all the flavor and excitement of the original game - while expanding the world and adding the features players wanted most, including online and LAN co-op multiplayer. Torchlight II is fast, fun, and filled to the brim with action and loot. Adventure solo or online with your friends!
If you don't own it; don't buy it until the Linux version is released. Support Linux Gaming.
It's exciting though, as I've seen calls from you lot for more RPG games.

Moving the Steam folder on Linux is causing users' entire file systems to be deleted
Users of Steam on GNU/Linux are reporting that attempting to move the Steam folder - something that the GNU/Linux Steam installer doesn't allow you to set at the time of installation - is leading to everything able to be deleted being deleted recursively from root. First entered as a bug report by the Github user keyvin, he explained how he tried to move the directory somewhere else and symlink it to the original location. In almost every use case under the Sun, this usually works without too many problems. Unfortunately for keyvin, however, a bug in Steam proceeded to delete everything it was able to on his computer - even the content on his 3TB external storage.
