SEGA once again serves up another successful tennis title!

LONDON & SAN FRANCISCO (February 5th 2009) – SEGA Europe Ltd. and SEGA of America, Inc. today announced they will be publishing Virtua Tennis™ 2009. Virtua Tennis 2009 will smash into action on Sony PlayStation® 3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and downloadable for PC fans in May 2009.

Virtua Tennis 2009 will again allow you to take on the world’s top tennis players in some of the most realistic courts to be found on gaming consoles. Take on the likes of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer or play as Maria Sharapova against Venus Williams to recreate some classic court battles. Joining this impressive roster of tennis stars are several new players for 2009, including men’s World No.4 Andy Murray and ladies French Open champion Ana Ivanovic. In addition to the traditional singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches, Virtua Tennis 2009 will also have the official Davis Cup license, giving players the coveted opportunity to lead their country to glory!

Virtua Tennis 2009 has extensive additions and detailed improvements to the classic arcade-style match engine like no other tennis game available. Player stumbling adds a new dimension to matches, while improved volleying, serving and net play allow you to express yourself on court like never before. In addition, the popular World Tour Mode has been given innovative new features offering a fully integrated online system, and new online ranking system available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Along with numerous other additions the Player Creation System in World Tour Mode has also been expanded, and a new look Tennis Store containing over 800 items will enable players to create their own unique Virtua Tennis Champion!

Compro, de certeza! Quero é um rooster grande com marcas e torneios oficiais. Tenho pena de não ver nada disso num jogo de ténis :( o Top Spin desiludiu pelo fraco e minúsculo rooster.
 
Espero ansiosamento por isto, só não comprei o outro pra ps3 porque nem tinha online mas era um vicio total no pc! Esperemos que venha com troféus também.
 
Penso que a Sony já deve ter accionado a regra que obriga todos os jogos que são lançados na Playstation 3 a terem troféus.

Curiosamente nem sei se o Lumines Supernova ou o 3 vs 3 NHL Arcade tem.

Supostamente é por causa disto que o Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix não sai na PS Store EU. Só quando a Capcom actualizar o jogo com troféus.

Em principio já deve ter trofeus. A "regra" que a Sony aplicou é que a partir de 1 de Janeiro de 2009 todos os jogos que sejam submetidos a aprovação para lançamento, terão que incluir suporte para troféus, resta saber quando é que este jogo foi submetido (visto que está a ser apresentado agora, deverá ter sido em 2009), no entanto penso que seria pouco inteligente da parte da Sega não suportar trofeus visto que o firmware saiu a meio do ano passado.

Tanto o Lumines Supernova como o 3 vs 3 NHL Arcade tem trofeus.
 
Já estou a ver é que o jogo será como o 3 com 12 gajos e 7 gajas. Se for só isso não compro, queria pelo menos uns 30 tenistas licenciados e nem era pedir muito.

Ao que parece Afro Samurai não tem trophies, é provável que o jogo tenha sido submetido ainda em 2008.
 
Espectaculo. Eu passei o Virtua Tennis 3 no PC e agora ia investir no Top Spin 3. Sendo assim espero até Maio pelo grande Virtua Tennis.

A mim basta-me 20 tenistas masculinos e 10 femininos. Já era bem bom. E depois fazer uma base de dados de 100 personagens inventadas por eles, pk senão torna-se uma seca estar sempre a jogar contra os mesmos jogadores no World Tour.
 
aliar a qualidade da jogabilidade do vt3 a uma vasta escolha de jogadores seria formidavel. jogabilidade + vários jogadores = jogo mais longo, menos chato e ainda se adiciona o espera online mode
