O Project Offset tinha sido apresentado há algum tempo atrás e aparentava ser muito promissor, entretanto a Offset Software foi adquirida pela Intel em Fevereiro de 2008 e mantiveram-se em silêncio até recentemente.The first project for Offset, this title is a first-person adventure/shooter set in an epic fantasy world. Players can choose their own character class and explore the vast land of medieval fantasy. Join clans to complete the mission-based objectives, as you play through the game alone, in co-op, in team-based objective play, and in deathmatch multiplayer. Leap upon the backs of dragons or command siege weapons in combat, much like modern online combat FPS games. Let your bow sing as it fires arrows upon enemies, then engage in brutal melee combat with your sword in this massive action game.
Parece que finalmente vamos saber o que têm estado a desenvolver, pois uma das várias conferências que a Intel tem planeadas para a GDC vai ser sobre o Offset engine, no qual parecem depositar muita confiança.

Session Description
Time and cost are the demons that plague every game. Offset's editor and engine, still in production, are being designed and developed from the ground up to enable fast iteration with a WYSIWYG interface. In this presentation we'll share the steps (and missteps!) we took to give our artists the tools they need to tame the demons of their production pipeline.
