Lead and Gold – Gangs of the Wild West catapults the player straight into the dramatic crescendo of the Western myth. Allowing players to relive the thrills of a gunfight in classic western settings such as main street of a frontier town or the claustrophobic depths of a gold mine.

  • Third person shooter with team multiplayer.
  • Supported platforms are still to be announced but the game is developed for digital distribution on both consoles and PC.
  • Lead and Gold - Gangs of the Wild West raises the standards for online distributed games by utilizing graphics and gameplay features similar to those used by a majority of today’s AAA-titles.

Veremos, gostei do Trailer 2, o que me mete um bocado de pé atras, é ser de Cowboys, mas se for bom, não ligo a isso!
O jogo ainda não tem data marcada de lançamento.

Paradox Interactive revealed today that the company is set to make an “explosive entrance” onto consoles with Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, although we’re not quite sure which consoles they mean. The team based third person shooter, which will transport players “directly into the heart of the gun-slinging drama and action of the Wild West”, is locked and loaded to hit the console market during 2010.
“We’ve been able to closely observe the success Paradox Interactive has achieved as a global publisher over the past years and we feel they are the perfect fit for our titles, which have already generated so much buzz and interest,” said Martin Wahlund, CEO of developer Fatshark.
“We’ve said all along that for the right title, we’d jump on the opportunity of going console and when Lead and Gold crossed our path, there was no turning back. The team over at Fatshark is very experienced and has done an excellent job,” said Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive. “There’s ample opportunity to roll this out on several different platforms, including PC.”

Developed by Fatshark, Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West features intense gunfights in beautifully rendered Western settings. Incorporating the unique Synergy system, which encourages co-operation and team tactics to achieve a maximum gameplay experience and rewards, Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West calls upon players to team up to relive the excitement, danger, and mystery of the Wild West
Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West Features
• Four distinct playable characters with a multitude of strengths and weaknesses
• A diverse level-up system letting you adapt your character to each game round as it unfolds
• A multitude of different game modes and settings, all with a distinct feeling of the Old West
• Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West will reward players that play as a team through the incorporation of the Synergy system.
• Game modes and mechanics are designed to be easy-to-understand with a minimum of prerequisites

Giddy up! That's what cowboys say, right? But I'm admittedly unoriginal, so that's what I'll be yelling as I download Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West to my PlayStation 3 hard drive next week.
Publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that its third-person shooter is set to hit PlayStation Network on April 15 in Europe, "with the rest of the world soon to follow." Developed by Fatshark, Lead and Gold focuses on a multiplayer experiencing in the Wild West, giving players four different playable characters to control.
