Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands​

Ubisoft just announced a new Prince of Persia title with a rather vague press release…Here it is:
Today Ubisoft announced that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands video game is in development and is scheduled to be released May 2010 for consoles and handhelds. This new instalment in the critically-acclaimed franchise marks the return to the Prince of Persia Sands of Time storyline. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will feature many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand.
Hmmm, so it’s not a sequel to last year’s game, but a continuation of the old series? Interesting.
A trailer for the game is apparently set to debut during the Spike Video Game Awards on Saturday, December 12. We’ll let you know if we come across any new details between now and then.

O Sands of time foi para mim o melhor, (se considerarmos o 1º da serie, apesar de ter havido mais jogos antes do Sands of Time) vamos lá ver a sua continuação!

Então mas a saga sands of time não tinha acabado?
E depois Maio.... Maio?!
Ah pois, lembrei-me agora da data do filme...
Estou pra ver o que sai daqui.
 
Preferia a continuação da nova saga... pensei que a saga das areias já tinha terminado.
Mas com filme a sair, o estúdio do filme deve ter entrado com algum para terem também mais por onde pegar para o grande ecrã...
Se começam a "ordenhar" esta saga, ainda acabam por quebrar o bom nome do primeiro jogo da saga que foi o único de jeito.
É esperar e ver o que sai daqui...
 
Serei o único que acha que o jogo baseado num filme que é baseado num jogo não combina? Enfim, infelizmente os milhões falam mais alto.
Eu quero é a continuação da história da Elika e não mais Areias do Tempo.

O 1º Riddick era exelente...
Este aqui, vai já sair em Maio, não sei se vão ter tempo suficiente para fazer alguma coisa de jeito, vamos ver, o trailer não me agradou lá muito, achei fraquito..
 
Como todos os trailers de anúncio POP, quase de certeza que mudam o jogo radicalmente, só não digo certeza absoluta devido à saida do filme baseado na "trilogia".
Depois do que fizeram ao "POP3", e tudo aquilo que poderia ter sido:

Mudaram do apelativo cinemático e muito dark KINDRED BLADES, para ISTO ou ISTO ! :(
Nunca mais faças uma dessas Ubisoft!

estou um pouco mais descansado parece, que não vai sair algo igual ao filme mas sim um jogo entre o Sands of time e o Warrior within, o facto de utilizarem o mesmo engine do anteriro também facilita as coisas, talvez tenham voltado á anterior trilogia por esta ter tido uma maior aceitação que o recente jogo

Cá para mim o filme começa no Sands of Time e prolonga até este Forgotten Sands. Pelo que aparece no trailer do filme muita coisa corresponde à descrição dada deste jogo pelo que, para mim, cheira-me infelizmente a um "jogo baseado num filme".

Espero mesmo estar enganado, mas muito enganado mesmo.

Preferia o estilo do novo Prince of Persia... Os gráficos tipo desenho estavam espectaculares... Este aqui parece um passo atrás... =\
 
Se calhar vamos perceber como é que ele ficou com o medalhão do Warrior Within (que sinceramente ainda não faço ideia como o adquiriu, pois simplesmente depois do Sands of Time o tipo aparece já com o medalhão com ele). Se bem me lembro essa parte não estava explicada.

De resto também esperava pela continuação da nova série para o fim deste ano. Agora com este a sair em Maio dificilmente vemos a continuação da história do Ahriman tão cedo...
 
Devo confessar que preferia uma continuação da saga do Prince com a Elika. Mas a continuação da saga Sands Of Time também não a vejo com maus olhos de todo, se bem que o aspecto deste novo príncipe não me agrada nem um pouco. Aguardemos.
