EA has confirmed Crysis 3

EA has confirmed Crysis 3, a sandbox FPS built using the latest CryEngine tech and due out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the spring of 2013.

You play Prophet, who returns to New York in 2047. He finds the city has been encased in a Nanodome created by the corrupt Cell Corporation. The New York City Liberty Dome is now an urban rainforest, packed with overgrown trees, swamplands and rivers.

Inside there are seven "distinct and treacherous" environments, known as the Seven Wonders. Prophet uses a "lethal composite bow", first seen last week in leaked box art images, an enhanced Nanosuit and alien tech.

Prophet is on a revenge mission after uncovering the truth behind Cell Corporation's motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. These were CELL's covert attempt at a land and technology grab in its quest for global domination. "With Alien Ceph lurking around every corner and human enemies on the attack, nobody is safe in the path of vengeance. Everyone is a target in Prophet's quest for retribution," reads the official blurb.

Muito melhor que a do primeiro. Para ser franco, nem me lembro se o primeiro tinha historia...tao bom que aquilo foi.

Gostei bastante de todos, mas achei este último mais fraco que os outros para ser franco, acho que jogar na floresta e assim dava outro entusiasmo...
 
Lembrei-me deste filme quando vi a imagem do crysis 3 hehehe:

A série crysis para mim sempre valeu pela jogabilidade e pelos gráficos. Espero sinceramente que neste crysis 3 voltemos a ter a liberdade que tinhamos no crysis 1, mas duvido um bocado...

Boas noticias, eu gosto bastante da serie, mas sinceramente espero que o 3 volte as origens, o segundo foi bom e tal, mas extremamente linear e bastante scripted, não que isso seja uma coisa má, eu gostei bastante do jogo, mas senti falta da liberdade do primeiro, também tive pena que o 2 não tivesse sido o proximo "Benchmark", como o primeiro foi em 2007 e ainda é, espero então que este Crysis 3 venha com a liberdade de gameplay e qualidade gráfica (Espero que superior e que use tecnologia de 2012) do primeiro, também não me importava que a historia fosse boa desta vez, é que os outros jogos da serie tiveram historias muito más...
 
Mas se demorar o mesmo tempo a fazer que os outros demoraram, so daqui a 3 anos é que vemos o jogo :P

EDIT: E o Mundo acaba este ano :D

Original Story: Only a few days ago, the boxart for Crytek’s upcoming AAA shooter sequel, Crysis 3, was leaked to the public. Today, we catch an even better glimpse at the protagonist, the setting and the enemies that players will be facing in this direct sequel to 2011′s Crysis 2.

Check out this image below of our main nanosuit-wearing protagonist facing what seems to be a new alien threat in the overgrown, post-apocalyptic streets of New York City.

Outra vez na cidade não, esperava que voltassem para a floresta ou fossem para um outro ambiente diferente...
Cheira-me que vem ai outra vez mais extra-terrestres..
 
Desta vez é uma cidade envolta em vegetação, por isso é um misto de Crysis 1 e Crysis 2.

Sobre o jogo, mais extraterrestres? Não tínhamos morto os outros no final do Crysis 2?
