The first lineup we will detail is ASUS’s Z97 ROG motherboard lineup which includes ASUS’s Republic of Gamers branded products which are aimed towards enthusiasts, overclockers and gamers. The new motherboards from ASUS include some intresting features this round such as Intel Ethernet, LAN Guard, GameFirst III, Supreme FX, Sonic Radar II, KeyBot, TrueVolt USB and Gamer’s Guardian which will come in handy for easier connectivity and accessibility. The second lineup we will detail is ASUS’s Z97 TUF “The Ultimate Force” motherboard lineup which are aimed towards enthusiasts, overclockers. So the third and last lineup we will detail is ASUS’s Z97 TUF Legacy motherboard lineup which are aimed towards enthusiasts, overclockers and budget users. Built with top of the line components and feature packed, the line-up is aimed towards all performance users and gamers including enthusiasts. The new motherboards from ASUS include some interesting features this round such as Intel Ethernet, LAN Guard, DIGI+ Power Control, Turbo App, Turbo LAN, Crystal Sound 2, HomeCloud (802.11ac B/G/N) and an interesting new design scheme for next-gen Intel platform. so é pena ainda não se saber preços, mas quem ja tem chipset serie 8, não vejo grandes motivos para fazer o upgrade.


Quanto a mim, vou esperar pelo devil canyon, que supostamente sai depois do refresh do Haswell
 
pelos vistos a sabertooth nem sequer vai ter a vantagem dos ssd a 1 gb/s, visto nao ter as portas.

se queremos essa feature teremos de ir pelas Rog, que deverão atingir precos exorbitantes.
 
Algumas estão bem bonitas, mas em termos de "features" novas, este chipset não parece nada de wow, a não ser que queiram SSD's com ligações a PCI-E... A não ser claro, que a capacidade de OC seja realmente melhor.

A não ser que queiram um Devil´s Canyon, que, pelo que se sabe, só vai ser compatível com Z97.

A MVII Ranger tem um PVP anunciado de ~$150.

Não tinha dado por isso do Devil's Canyon, seria uma boa razão para ir por elas claro. Mas será muito virado para overclockers extremos. Por acaso estou curioso de ver como se vão portar esses CPU's, supostamente querem melhorar o desempenho térmico dos Haswell, visto que será a plataforma base dos Devil.
 
pois, mas nas novas boards, so as ROG vão ter, o restante da gama não vai ter essas portas, a mais barata para tirar o partido todo dos ssd, sera a ROG ranger, nos 150 euros segundo o que o RSC apontou a nível de preço
