well, it is a rubbish cell phone, for modern standards...
I didn't say that
it's not rubbish at all ! it's even very good looking and stilish
For phone calls it's ok, good net connection and good voice quality;
but as I said before... it's a pitty that SMS and alarm clock are hard to use.
If the display was just a bit "visual friendly" and the alarm clock was working when telephone switched off....
I WOULD KEEP IT WITH ME, DEFINITELY !
But I was already in love with an other cheap mobile: Sagem 226 (see discussion on this forum)
The Sagem 226 is even smaller, good for SMS (I don't use messages a lot, but if I need them I don't want to get mad) and has alarm clock working when off. I think that even a cheap and easy mobile should have these functions; the rest is not important...
Little questions::::
How much do Motofone and Sagem 226 cost in Portugal?
In Italy prices can change a lot:
the "normal" price for Motofone is 39 euros ..... but I had it for only 9 (included Vodafone SIM)
the "normail" price for Sagem 226 is 49 euros ..... but I had 2 of them for 19 (normal Vodafone special offer with SIM included)... and 3 of them for only 5 euros !!! (always with Vodafone SIM included; it was a crazy offer from a Vodafone shop in Torino)
The Vodafone SIM included always have 5 euros prepaid credit and the phones are always without SIM lock
