PC/Mac/Linux Unreal Tournament 2004

Not long after you've finished that off, Unreal Tournament 2004 is set to come beating down your door. That's due 18 November according to the online store.

apeteceme dizer: ainda há pachorra para isto? ja a perdi desde o ut2003,e agora vem mais uma xaropada pro ano?a este ritmo vai ser um serio concorrente á serie fifa,com lançamentos de ut de mês a mês :puke:
 
O Half-Life2 vai realmente sair, mas agora o UT2k4 não acredito, até porque depois de tanto tempo para fazerem o UT2k3, terem tido tanto trabalho a desenvolverem o motor gráfico, agora fizeram o que? Meteram as "Lá Kentchup" como boss final ou que?

Podes crer... para mim o UT foi o original e acabou aí. O género está saturado e há que inovar.

Acho que o UT2003 foi mais para publicitar o engine novo para ser licenciado por outras companhias.

We'll be announcing what's happening next with Unreal Tournament at E3. Don't worry, any new UT related products shipping in the next 18 months will be compatible with UT2003, and so will serve to extend the life of the platform your mod is built on rather than replacing it.

Mark Rein reports :
If there were going to be a UT2004 it would be fully backward compatible with 2003 so mod makers wouldn't have to worry about that. But that's all I can say for now :)

Nao chego a perceber se o k vai sair é 1 jogo novo ou tipo 1 mod para o ut2k3! Resta esperar pela E3!

Awesome news. And I followed up with Mr. Polge myself to confirm that this isn't some wacky hoax. DJGen also posted this mail from Mark Rein:

Please note that this isn't an outright confirmation of a UT2004, they’re just saying that they'll announce plans for the next Unreal Tournament game at E3 (which starts May 14th).

Rumors seem to indicate that this will indeed be UT2004 and that Scion Studios is doing most of the development, but again, those are just crazy rumors. "

Ainda por cima a ser desenvolvidos por outro estudio. Não estou a gostar disto.....
 
então o que é que eles fizeram? Actualizaram os equipamentos, actualizando os patrocinadores, e mudaram os estilos visuais de cada um, e meteram um travesti no jogo?

Se o motor é o mesmo, são retrocompativeis, que raio é que eles actualizaram que se justifique que uma pessoa que possua o UT2k3 vá a correr comprar este?
 
erm...agora de repente..novos monstros,novas armas...mais uns bosses diferentes..hm...armas mais potentes..montros,armas,montros,armas,tiros,mortes,caos,enfim,que mais podemos pedir?
 
Estranho..., quando não se tinha que pagar o ut2k3 pra jogar online eram muitos a jogar (não ao nivel do UT ou CS claro tmb o jogo era novo) agora é tipo moscas

se tiverem o ut2k3 instalado (pouco provavel) vejam esta demo e comparem a skill precisa contra um mohaa ou mesmo CS pra fazer o que o Mr.frost faz (UT não comento é preciso muita skill tmb :D)

Pergunto-me sobre o sucesso do UT se tivessem que pagar pra o jogar
 
Atari sends along this press release, confirming that Unreal Tournament 2004 is in development. Shipping this fall, Unreal Tournament 2004 will feature all the content of Unreal Tournament 2003 + bonus packs, as well as twenty new maps, new modes (Assault returns) and vehicle based combat. Here's a bit on one of these new game modes featuring vehicles.

* Onslaught Mode: New multi-player oriented combat game type on custom-built large-scale maps featuring awesome new weapons and land- and air-based vehicles. From the lethal bomber to the nefarious spider mines - players will work as teams to control map points and win the conflict. There are currently nine Onslaught maps planned to ship with the game.
