1st Geforce 7800 GTX pic ??

Já alguem sabe se vai possivel fazer-se sli destas lindas :)

I’ve just been told from a very, very reliable source that the G70, Nvidia’s next generation card will officially be called the 7800 (we all new that, didn’t we?). It will initially be available in three versions , the 7800 GTX, 7800 GT and 7800 and they will be launched on the 22nd of June. I've just been told the new GTX moniker will NOT replace the Ultra. An overclocked GTX will come some time after launch and this will be known as the 7800 Ultra. The Ultra may possibly be Nvidia's first 90nm part. Below is the specification for the 7800 GTX:

There was speculation that the G70 would be a 90nm part but it appears- at least at launch - that it will be built on their 110nm fabrication. I’ve also been told that SLI will only be possible with the GTX model and above. There's a neat little rumour going round that the 7800 got its name entirely down to the 3D mark 2005 score it is capable of. Take that one with a pinch of salt though.

Power supply demands have stayed the same as far as I can tell, with a single GTX warranting 400 watts and 24 amps on the +12v rail and two GTX’s in SLI needing a 500 watt PSU and 34 amps on the +12v rail. It’s not yet clear if 512MB cards will actually be ready for launch. There is currently no word on pricing either.

e sendo esta polaca destinada aos home pc's...
 
Na me digam k vão comprar uma gráfica destas e por numa mini-tower ...

Se têm pasta para uma gráfica destas tb têm pasta para uma caixa grande de jeito: Lian-Li, Chieftec, Antec, Coolermaster, etc
 
Não acredito que seja a topo de gama, tenho ideia que vai sair qquer coisa melhor que GTX, cheira-me mais a média alta. A nVidia já da ultima vez escondeu bem as specs obrigando a Ati há ultima da hora a arranjar a PE, depois foi os yelds que se viu.
 
Desde que tenham o mesmo nº de pipelines... Digamos que me fico por sli de GTX :)
Se a ultra tiver mais pipes (alem do oc) é um caso a ponderar :P

Só quero uns benchs... vá lá :P :x2:
 
Duvido que a Ultra tenha mais pipes, implicaria mais um chip diferente na linha de fabrico, a não ser que o G70 tenha de origem 32 pipes e seja como tem sido ultimamente, "quads" desactivados consoante a versão.

Há por aí uns rumores que a Ultra, saindo mais tarde, já seja fabricado a 90nm. Tenho algumas reservas quanto a esta hipotese.

Não dá para ver toda a parte de cima, pode até estar lá e não se ver.
As primeiras versões de referência das 6800 Ultra e GT em pci-express nem tinham o conector.
Além disso, o que garante que esta não é a versão GT ou inferior, que não incluirá - em princípio - tecnologia SLI ?
 
A Nvidia futuramente vai tirar o connector e diminuir o nº de layers das bords SLI, para tudo ficar mais barato.

Mas axo k isso estava programado só para o fim do ano, quando sairem novos *****...
 
Duvido que alguém compre um C51G (versão AMD) ou C60 (versão Intel) com gráficos integrados e PCB mais simples, para depois gastar um balúrdio em placas de topo...

NVIDIA plans on sticking it to ATI with G70 and offering widespread availability of their new GPU very soon. Manufacturers at the show have already indicated that the first shipments of G70 boards will be in their hands by the second week of June.

Boards are on display at the show, behind closed doors of course. Of course, in Taiwan nothing is ever secret - and thus we’ve had the ability to play around with a number of G70 cards at the show. We can’t say much about the G70 as we are bound by NDA, but all of the cards at the show are single-slot solutions which is refreshing.

Only a handful of NVIDIA’s closest partners have been given G70 designs to show off at Computex, the rest are told to wait until further notice.

Incrivel parece que ficaram single slot o que é excelente :) principalmente para pessoal que, como eu, está a ar numa DFI SLI, quando coloquei a 2ª 6800 ultra emprestada, Aquilo a de cima nem ar tinha :(
A ver se estas vêm melhor :)

Não percebo muito de hardware, mas o NDA deve ter chegado à proibição de fotografar... A imagem do core da G70 foi trabalhada no photoshop.
