Activision's Bond game to use CoD4 engine

During a conference call with investors Activision has confirmed that the publisher's upcoming James Bond video game - currently untitled - is being developed at Treyarch using the same engine that powered the beautiful Call of Duty 4.

There's no firm release just yet, but the game will be in stores in the autumn, around the same time as the next bond movie, The Quantum Solace, hits theatres.

The Call of Duty 4 engine suggests we'll be seeing the new Bond game on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
