instalei hoje o cliente SMP pois ainda tinha o antigo e parece que chegou ao limite da vida.

Se alguem me puder dar uma ajuda agradecia.
 
Esse erro deve-se ao facto de teres iniciado o novo programa uma vez sem a tag -smp.
Isso fez com que ele fizesse download de uma WU para o cliente normal.
Depois quando inicias com -smp ele dá erro porque a WU não é para o cliente -smp.
Apaga o ficheiro queue e a pasta work e inicia o programa de novo ou inicia o programa sem a tag e acaba primeiro essa wu antes de começar uma nova.

Pois, foi isso que aconteceu :P
Já agora, existe alguma tag para que ele envie esta WU e depois não saque uma nova para eu usar o SMP ?
 
Tiras a tag -smp e usas a tag -oneunit.
Assim ele acaba a que está a fazer envia e não começa outra.
Depois inicias o programa novamente com a tag -smp.

Esse erro deve-se principalmente e duas coisas:
o .net framework 2.0 não está instalado ou o MPI não está bem registado no sistema.

Se não tiveres o .net 2.0 instalado tens de instalar, se não tens de executar o install.bat como administrador para voltar a registar o MPI.

Tenta a ver se resulta.

Tenho o net framework2 instalado, ele ate me avisou que precisava disso e eu saquei e instalei.
Quanto ao MPI não percebo mt disso, mas tentei desinstalar tudo e voltar a instalar e ta igual.
Não sei que se passa agora.

Faz como eu. Quando começa a correr mal, apaga tudo, e instala tudo de raiz.

Também comecei a ter erros, porque fiz mal os primeiros passos, e depois ján não conseguia "reparar". Apaguei tudo, e instalei de origem, e já funciona... :kfold:

so que foi isso que fiz :P

Painel de Controlo > Adicionar/Remover programas > deinompi
Delete C:\folding@home smp\

E voltei a instalar.:sad:
 
Que windows estás a usar?
Um de 32 ou 64 bits?
O deinompi não funciona em windows de 64 bits.
Outra coisa é que com este novo cliente se quiseres usar o deinompi tens de usar a flag -deino.
O problema pode ser esse.
Experimenta.

Windows XP SP2

Eu não sei para que serve o DeinoMPI apenas instalei porque me pareceu essencial para correr o f@h.
 
O deinompi é apenas outro MPI e sim pelo menos um dos dois tem de estar instalado, o problema é que se tens o deino instalado precisas de usar a tag -deino.

Já agora, eu abri o deinompi e aquilo aparecia uma lista dos pcs que tinha em casa e um separador como cluster..
Com aquele programa podemos criar um cluster para foldar?

Resolvi o problema desinstalando tudo e usando o mpich em vez do deinompi...
Não me dou com coisas mt complicadas :P
