http://xboxevolved.e-mpire.com/article/Alan_Wake/5629.htmlThis follows comments from the game's lead writer Sam Lake that the team is "fully concentrated on the Xbox 360 version".
A Remedy spokesperson has since confirmed to Digital Spy that the firm is "currently working exclusively" on Alan Wake for the console and that any decision on a potential PC version now rests solely with publisher Microsoft Games.
"Our PC plans are currently open [and] therefore a joint PC/Xbox launch is not possible at this late stage," said the representative.
"Remedy has a deep heritage in PC gaming and we would love to see a PC version available for our PC followers. Ultimately, however, this is a decision that lies with our publisher."
Mais um Duke Nukem Forever... Tanto tempo para aparecer esse jogo, acho que já se adivinhava... é uma pena
http://www.brightfalls.net/news/640/“Thank you for your continued interest in Alan Wake. It is accurate that we are currently working exclusively on the Xbox360 version of Alan Wake. PC plans are currently open, and therefore it’s safe to say that at least a simultaneous launch with the Xbox version will not happen at this late stage. Remedy has a deep heritage in PC gaming and would love to see a PC version available to its PC followers, ultimately however this decision lies with our publisher.”
Bye bye Alan Wake.Microsoft reps have finally confirmed that Alan Wake will never be released on the PC, after dropping all mention of the home computer version from their latest marketing materials:
"Some games are more suited for the intimacy of the PC, and others are best played from the couch in front of a larger TV screen. We ultimately realised that the most compelling way to experience Alan Wake was on the Xbox 360, so we focused on making it an Xbox 360 exclusive. Both Microsoft and Remedy have long histories in PC game development. This decision was about matching this specific game to the right platform."
