Eu tenho lido alguma coisa sobres estas novas boards 780G e 790Gx e têm-me suscitado algum interesse principalmente para o uso num media center através da saída Hdmi.

No entanto surgiu-me uma dúvida que ainda não consegui esclarecer. Com estas boards, e se quiser fazer hybrid crossfire, a saída para a tv poderá ser pela hdmi da board ou tera q ser feita pela placa gráfica externa?

Tenho uma 780G... tu depois na bios da motherboard podes definir qual a gráfica/ ou saída que queres utilizar...

Se tiveres a ASUS M3A78-EHM HDMI, tens de andar a mudar jumpers à força toda ao pé do conector HDMI, deve tar tudo no manual... é k ao habilitares o HDMI, ficas sem saída DVI (para isso é k servem os jumpers)

É isso mesmo que acontece....há um jumper que está indicado no manual e que alterna entre DVI/HDMI. Nos modelos da Gigabyte é só alterar na bios :)

Em relação ao hybrid crossfire, eu li algures que, ao introduzir uma placa hd34** a saída seria por essa placa e n pela onboard.

Em relação à review da anandtech, o SB750 felizmente está a confirmar ser um "must have".

Pelo que tenho visto apenas as motherboards mais baratas recorrem a jumpers para activação de crossfire e sli, as restantes é bios ou mesmo automático/drivers, como se tem visto nas ultimas gerações

Rather dissapointing if true, but logically makes sense since Anandtech was talking about how they were communicating with AMD and Foxconn about BIOs revisions and such and if the second link is indeed true than they are under an NDA.

So unfortunatly we're most likely going to be waiting a little while longer

estou curioso......... para ver o q consegue fazer uma 791gx em integrated, discrete e hybird..... e q não seja mais um paper launch tipo "puma"..... poi quero reformar o meu velhinho xp@3400 e a abit an7............
 
: O 128 dollars!!!! aki em portugal deve vir a 100 euros...o que não deixa de ser um preço bem fixe :P.

Tou a pensar em comprar uma destas meninas no natal :D, até lá o preço baixa e compro uma destas por 80 euros lol.

já agora o chipset 790FX tem mais perfomance que o 790gx?? ou é tudo a mesma treta?

não são a mesma trata, mas é de se esperar que o 790fx tenha mais performance (pelo menos tem muito mais lanes pci-e), mas vou ficar à espera de uma review
