Belo cpu a um preço extramente elevado só o simples facto de com stock voltage dar os 3000 sem grandes problemas e ter um processo de fabrico de 0.90 ajuda e muito.

Dependendo do uso k darás a um cpu poderá ser uma melhor ou pior opção... se fores um gamer mt provavelmente o fx será melhor agora se optares por encoding, folding, seti e afins um dual core poderá ser uma melhor opção!

btw any news acerca das temperaturas extremamamente negativas não se darem mt bem com este fx57 ou com os dual core ?

Creio que ainda n ha noticias nenhumas sobre essas experiencias a temps. negativas.

E eu a pensar que nunca mais mudava de cpu... será que o 57 me vai fazer perder a cabeça?

Se forem como os FX55 San diego em principio podera nao haver problemas embora ja exista pessoal que com os San Diego nao FX tenham tido alguns problemas com temperaturas negativas.
Acho existe um topico sobre isso da XS.

I have been singing the praises of Intel’s HyperThreading for what seems to be years now, much to the dismay of our AMD supporters. Nevertheless, the fact of the matter is that the Pentium 4 with HyperThreading just delivered a much smoother computing experience than what AMD used to have offer. Even though HyperThreading was not doing twice the work of a single physical processor, it could certainly make you feel like you had dual CPUs tucked inside you box. Now in walks AMD’s Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one recently and I replaced my “old” Pentium 4 3.6GHz processor with a shiny new ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard and an Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4800+ and I could not be happier with my computing experience. I now have all the silky smoothness of Intel’s HyperThreading, but also the power of having two very fast physical processors sitting in one socket.

Looking at our benchmarks, you can see that the Athlon X2 4800+ is no slouch when it comes to gaming, although it is not as quick as an FX-57 any day. Still, if you are not that super hardcore gamer but someone that uses applications that you think needs more power, the Athlon X2 is the way to go. I play Counterstrike online nowadays while I encode video...on the same computer. The power to get tasks accomplished that the Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core has is tremendously commanding.

We need also need to remember that Intel has their dual core solutions on the market, but they are just not as eloquent and well engineered as AMD’s X2. The Pentium solutions require new motherboards, possibly new RAM, and quite possibly heavier duty power supplies and thermal control devices. With the Athlon X2, many AMD users will find that if they already own a 939-pin motherboard, upgrading to an X2 is as easy as a BIOS update.

Apesar de não ser grande fan do Kyle concordo habitualmente com as opiniões dele qd faz a avaliação terra a terra do hardware.
Em conversas que tenho tido com o pessoal que tem amd64 curiosamente é frequente ouvir falar da falta de "suavidade" dos amd 64. Do que utilizei tb tenho essa opinião.
A menos que se utilize o PC só para jogar diria que vale a pena esperar pelos dual core e provavelmente o 4400+ será o melhor (preço/perfformance).

Estarão em termos de oc os dual core com 1mb de cache por core (esses é k interessam) ao nivel do FX57 ...algo k também m agradou ver é k este aumento de 200mhz stock mais as novas instruções face ao core do fx55 (não san diego) não implica mais calor pelo k dizem, ao k parece o processo foi melhorado tendo esse aspecto em conta :)

Eu estou indeciso entre 4400+ e 4800+... vou experimentar os dois e depois escolho! :D

eh pah só eu é k n tenho essa sorte :rolleyes:

Quanto ao fx pra mim acho que seria mais indicado um DC porque utilizo bue aplicações em simultÂneo e não só algumas. Só me falta é os €€€ pra ele :D
 
Estou tentado a esperar mais seis meses.
Algo me diz que as versões de 65nm (made in "brand new" FAB36) serão bem mais interessantes... ;)
