A day after initial publication and sharing our results/review ASUS of this article asked us to take the review down. The story at the time was that they shipped the card to us with the wrong BIOS. We've been eagerly awaiting the new BIOS for two weeks now, but nothing is coming from ASUS. ASUS did present a specific driver on their website, we tried it yet it is based on the 17.7 driver series which (obviously) did not make an improvement either.
Sampsa Kurri from io-tech.fi have been asking for asus when new bios should come out. Yesterday evening after 2 weeks of wait they gave him answer that there is not going to be new bios. So now he got green light to publish review with the bios that came with the card. I included some first results from forum and i will update with more results later.

No new bios coming for ASUS Strix Vega 64 OC Edition cards.
Last but not least, Vega 20. This is a refresh (likely on 12nm LP fabrication process) of Vega 10. According to the ‘leaked’ roadmap, this GPU would launch somewhere in the third quarter of 2018. The slide lists PCIe Gen 4 which was also present in the slides we leaked some time ago.
MSI’s response surprised us. The company traditionally offers re-engineered graphics cards with custom PCB designs for all high-end GPU platforms, but it appears to be skipping the Vega lineup. A company representative told us that MSI “won’t be making a custom card anytime soon,” but could offer no additional information.
