Versão Cluster do Mixtile Blade 3 que tem o RK3588:
N0yV2Gv.jpg

https://www.crowdsupply.com/mixtile...-breakout-board-and-announcing-a-stretch-goal

O conector U.2 transporta Power e uma Ligação Pci-Ex Gen3 4X. Ficam ligado em daisy-chain. Cada ligação ainda fica com uma porta SATA.
Inicialmente, só suporta IP over Pci-Ex.

The U.2 breakout board comes with a 6-pin connector 12V power, pair of SFF-8643 (mini SAS) connectors for PCIe daisy-chaining, and a SATA port. Since short SFF-8643 cables are hard to find, Mixtile will provide custom 15-cm cables with the breakout board. They will also release the pinout so people can make the mini SAS cables themselves if needed.

340$ a versão 1 GB RAM/8 GB Storage e 390$ a versão 4 GB/16 GB.
https://www.firefly.store/goods.php?id=170

Orange Pi 5 could be the most affordable Rockchip RK3588S SBC

Orange Pi 5 (LTS) is an upcoming single board computer powered by Rockchip RK3588S cost-down octa-core Cortex-A76/A55 processor that should offer one of the best cost/performance ratios on the market once it is launched.
Orange-Pi-5-specifications-720x478.jpg

Orange-Pi-5-LCD-Camera-interfaces-720x456.jpg

Just like the other Rockchip RK3588/RK3588S boards we’ve seen, Orange Pi 5 SBC will support Android 12 and Debian 11 initially. Some may be disappointed at the lack of NVMe or SATA storage, but that’s because Rockchip RK3588S only has two Combo PIPE PHY interfaces with the following capabilities:
  • Combo PIPE PHY0 – SATA III or PCIe 2.1 up to 5 Gbps
  • Combo PIPE PHY2 – SATA III, PCIe 2.1, or USB 3.1 Gen1

NanoPi R6S Review – Part 1: Unboxing, Teardown, OpenWrt 22.03, and iperf3

NanoPi R6S is a Rockchip RK3588S powered device that can not only work as a router with two 2.5GbE ports, but also as a mini PC with HDMI and USB ports, and an Edge AI computer thanks to the 6 TOPS NPU found in the processor.

Orange Pi 5 Rockchip RK3588S SBC launched for $60 and up

Orange Pi 5 (LTS) is a single board computer powered by Rockchip RK3588S cost-down octa-core Cortex-A76/A55 processor that offers one of the best cost/performance ratios on the market with pre-order pricing starting at just $60.
Besides the removal of the 32GB eMMC flash, the company has done some other changes due to Rockchip RK3588S having only two Combo PIPE PHY interfaces with the following capabilities:
  • Combo PIPE PHY0 – SATA III or PCIe 2.1 up to 5 Gbps
  • Combo PIPE PHY2 – SATA III, PCIe 2.1, or USB 3.1 Gen1

ODROID-N2L is a smaller, low-cost variant of ODROID-N2+ Arm SBC

ODROID-N2L SBC is a smaller and cheaper version of the ODROID-N2+ single board computer powered by an Amlogic S922X hexa-core Cortex-A73/A53 processor and offered with 2GB or 4GB single-chip LPDDR4X memory.
The biggest downside that I see is the complete lack of network connectivity as Ethernet, WiFi, or/and Bluetooth can only be added to the board through (USB) adapters. One of the tricks to make the board smaller was to replace the DDR4 RAM chips with a single LPDDR4 chip that also lowers power consumption and improves performance thanks to a 20% higher DRAM interface clock frequency.

Arm-based PCs to Nearly Double Market Share by 2027, Says Report

Personal computers (PCs) based on Arm architecture will grow in popularity and their market share will almost double from 14% now to 25% by 2027, according to Counterpoint Research's latest projections. The ability of Arm-based hardware to run Mac OS has allowed Apple to capture 90% of the Arm-based notebook computer market. However, the full support of Windows and Office365 and the speed of native Arm-based app adoption are also critical factors in determining the Arm SoC penetration rate in PCs. Once these factors are addressed, Arm-based PCs will become a viable option for both daily users and businesses.

Uy4QYp7D8n3FGWth.jpg

Conclusion
Arm-based PC SoCs offer several advantages over x86 CPUs, including customizability, lower power consumption, and integrated AI and GPUs. The rise of Arm-based PCs is expected to continue with the support of Windows and Office365, native apps, and industry experts. This trend is likely to lead to the integration of laptop and tablet form factors and the use of Arm-based SoCs in small devices and VR headsets.

Pricing for the CM3588 Core module with heatsink starts at $95 with 4GB RAM and no flash, while the CM3588 NAS Kit with the Core module with heatsink and the CM3588 NAS SDK carrier board starts at $130. You’d still need a 12V/2A power supply and a microSD card to boot the OS, so some people may consider a kit with an 8GB+64GB Core module, the carrier board, and a 12V/2A power supply instead for $154.89 plus shipping. The variant with 16GB RAM adds an extra $15.

Youyeetoo provides support for Android 13, Debian 11, Ubuntu 22.04, and Buildroot all based on Linux 5.10. The wiki is still very much in progress, but when Arnon reviewed the Youyeetoo X1 board with Ubuntu 22.04 he found the documentation to be fairly good, and I’d expect it to be the same for the new R1 SBC in due time.
Youyeetoo also sells it directly on their online store for $89.10 until December 31, after which the regular price is $99. Shipping is quite higher than on ***** however. Right now, the highest configuration is 8GB/64GB, as the 16GB/128GB and 32GB/256GB models are not for sale just yet. All versions of the R1 board including the ones with 32GB RAM and 256GB eMMC flash are also listed on Amazon, but shown as being “currently unavailable”.
