Asus A1000

Alguem me sabe responder à seguinte questão, os portáteis da Asus neste caso concreto o A1000(A1B) desligam automáticamente quando tem o Win XP instalado ou é necessário estar a carregar no botão de power?

Segundo a FAQ da Asus relativamente a este modelo
Q:How to switch off the machine?

A:For each separate O/S equipped with APM / ACPI (Windows 98, Windows ME, etc.), the notebook can be completely shut off by going to "START" --> "SHUTDOWN". For those without proper power management (DOS, pure NT, etc.), you may shut off the system by holding the switch for 2 seconds. This is necessary in order to prevent accidental switch-offs. In case that the system has frozen or hung for whatever reason and the system has stopped responding, it will take 4 seconds to forcefully shutdown the notebook.

Aparentemente só desliga via butão mas gostava de saber se existe forma de evitar essa situação

Lestes ao contrário. Na Faq diz que o portatil desliga automaticamente com o Win Xp.

Aparentemente nada...les te isso tudo ao contrário

1) Esse ASUS (e penso q qq PC minimamente actual) pode ser desligado usando o proprio OS.(especialmente Me e XP e 98)

2) Esse ASUS especificamente, fecha de certeza pq eu tenho um igual

3)A cena de carregar no botão FISICO de shutdown é apenas para quando o PC stalls ou assim de resto n precisas dele para nada.

4)No meu pus ainda a opção de qdo encerro o ecran ele se desligar sozinho.
