The system is expected to ship sometime in September along with it's 42-inch big brother, the Eee TV, and two other mystery objects known as the Eee S1 and Eee K1. We can only hope that this news paves the way for the Eee Phone and Eee Pants."

ok se isto é verdade.. então all hail asus! bom conceito... mesmo muito bom conceito.. e por 500USD, o que deverá ficar pelos 500€..

ASUS 'Eee Monitor' on the Cards
First talked about at Computex 2008, the newest entry to the ASUS 'Eee family' is the Eee Monitor. This product aims to give you everything you would expect a monitor to provide alongside display. The monitor in the pictures looks to be 19 to 20 inch, has a fixed web-cam, a 4-port USB hub, but what looks rather strange is that this 'monitor' doesn't looks like it has a D-Sub or DVI connector leading us to believe it's a self-contained PC a-là Apple Mac. The connectors behind show an ethernet port, a phone jack, standard sound jacks (line-in, line-out, mic), and the usual power-input. If it’s meant to serve as a monitor, it must also double as a docking station, because otherwise there’s no reason to have Ethernet and audio ports. The product also features integrated speakers made by Denon. It also features integrated data-card readers.

Esteticamente gostava de ter uma maquina assim por causa do factor espaço (PC integrado no ecran). Nunca tive maquinas muito poderosas, mas não me vejo a ter de trocar todo um pc porque preciso de fazer um upgrade. Por isso, como o ecran deve ser a parte mais cara deste ASUS, infelizmente este conceito não é para mim :(

Ui ainda falta tanto... é que ainda nem se sabe se isto é um PC ou um monitor com Docking Station, quanto mais quando está a venda em portugal... Aconselhava-te a comprares a câmara ou vais adormecer à espera disto... cumps;)
