No Revolução Digital o ASUS Padfone foi um dos poucos dispositivos a ter a nota máxima no Testes RD. Ao contrário do que algumas pessoas aqui comentaram, vimos nenhuma anomalia que valesse a pena destacar. Quanto às características do novo Padfone 2 fala-se muito do processador Qualcomm S4 (quad-core) a 1,5GHz, 2GB de RAM, câmara de 13 megapixels, câmara frontal de 1,3 megapixels, ecrã de 4,7″ HD com uma resolução de 1.280×720 pixels, bateria de 2.140mAh, NFC e o encaixe no tablet é maior do que o actual.

Asus Padfone 2 Gets GCF Certification, Will Reportedly Feature LTE Connectivity

A lot of buzz surrounds the Asus Padfone slated to be launched on 16 October. It has already gone viral on the internet.

Thanks to the Global Certification Forum (GCF), the Padfone 2 will reportedly feature LTE connectivity. According to the certification, the Padfone 2 will have LTE connectivity on bands 3, 7 and 20 that can be utilised in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Users could also expect to get the approval from the GCF for the US LTE bands very soon.
Similar to the original Padfone, the Padfone 2 can be transformed into a tablet by using a dock. The tablet can then be turned into a laptop if it is plugged into a keyboard dock.


In September, leaked packaging revealed the device could feature a 4.7in Super IPS + HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It could come with a dimension of 137.9 x 68.9 x 9mm and may weigh 135g. The report suggested that it could be powered by a Qualcomm 8064 quad-core clocked at 1.5GHz, in addition packing 2GB of RAM.
The PadFone 2 might have an impressive 13 megapixel rear-facing camera featuring auto-focus, LED flash, zero shutter lag, full HD recording and could sport a front-facing camera featuring 1.2 megapixel.
It is expected to feature WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro-USB 2.0 with MHL. It could support DC-HSPA+, WCDMA 850/900/1700/1900/2100 and Edge/GPRS, GSM E 850/900/1800/1900. The device is said to come with a 2140mAh Li-Ion battery.
Although the device's pricing is still under wraps, the follow-up to the original Padfone is expected to come with a higher price tag than its predecessor based on the leaked specs.

É mesmo para ser assim, não é por não ser possivel!
Se fosse só ecrã e não tivessem essa parte de plástico não eram muito confortáveis de segurar.. pois apenas o podias pegar de lado ou por trás, o que faria com que ficasses cansado de o segurar mt depressa! Onde metias os polegares sem tocares no ecran?

Sim, mas penso k daria para cortar mais um pouco.
 
Se o ecrã da tablet fosse 1080p era muito porreiro. Se não tivesse comprado o HTC One X há quase meio ano, era para este modelo que avançava.

Pena não vir com JB out of the box.
Mas parece ser bastante rápido.
Gostava mais da dock anterior. Esta não protege o telemóvel.

Provavelmente as leaks são de uma versão antiga. A Asus já está a actualizar tablets para o 4.1, e até ao fim do ano o Padfone original deverá ser actualizado também por isso é quase certo que o Padfone2 venha já com 4.1.

Também não gosto muito desta station, acho que não funciona esteticamente tão bem. Vamos ver como será ao vivo. Viram nos videos a forma como o telemovel se retira, precisamos das duas mão? É só empurrar? E fica bem seguro? Bem amanha ficamos a saber.
