ASUS WL-500GP com placa ZTE TMN

Oh, mas não posso desactivar essa funcionalidade, pq como lá está dito, assim desactivo a hipótese de instalar o software automaticamente, caso alguém queira ligar a pen/modem a um pc. (isto não é para mim, só tou a ver se resolvo a situação)

Equipamento :ASUS WL-500G
Placa ZTE MF626 fornecida pelo SAPO, na variante SAPO Free(associada a uma conta ADSL)


Na placa:
-Desliguei o modo pen USB atraves do hyperterminal
-Desactivei o PIN

- no router:
- Activei a opção "connect on startup"


- nas configurações, coloquei:
user: tmn
pass:tmn
apn: tmn-internet
dial: *99#
device speed: 115200
Zero cd configuration : none (ja tinha feito o disable atraves do hyperterminal e o comando em causa descrito no link)
Usb Device location ID : não me recordo bem (já nao tenho o router em minha casa), mas consegui saber atraves do logging na parte dos usb devices. Era algo tipo 1.1, ou 1.0.1...

- vendorId=0x19d2
-deviceProductId=0x0001
-usb packet size =4096

e pronto, depois do reboot, a luz da placa fica vermelha, passa a azul fixa e finalmente apos uns segundos começa a piscar...e obtenho IP !

Vi que conseguiste por a funcionar um mf626 num asus wl500gp e eu estou farto de tentar com uma da TMN mas ainda não consegui.
Acho que o meu problema (depois de ler o que secreves-te) deve ser o facto de não conseguir desligar o modo pen USB atraves do hyperterminal.
Já estive no site que indicas mas não encontro a forma de o fazer, agradeço que informes como posso fazer isso.

já agora onde foste buscar que o apn é tmn-internet?
é que eu tb não tou a conseguir por a mf626 a bulir num mediatech mt4205, que em principio já desde o firmeware 2.1.8 beta6 (tenho o 2.1.13 acho eu...agr n tou ligado a esse router mas sei que é bastante + recente) que suporta esta placa e não consigo po-la a funcar...
já experimentei uma serie de apn's dns' s username's *99***16#, *99#, etc etc..e nada.

qndo ligo a placa ao pc e corro o software da sapo, indo ao ficheiro de configuração, vejo que supostamente o apn é só o "internet" nada em username e pass, dns em auto e phone number *99# só que não dá porra nenhuma!

é verdade tinhas aí dito que tinhas desactivado o modo usb no hyperterminal....como é que se faz isso?!?

alguma sugestão please?

Para meteres a funcionar no mediatech tens que desactivar o modo CD, como já foi indicado, precisas basicamente de fazer isto:

There is an alternative way that does not need Hyperterminal: in the Windows computer with the MF626 inserted go to Start/Control Panel/ Phone&Modem Options/Modems/ZTE proprietary modem/Properties/Advanced. Place in Extra initialisation string AT+ZCDRUN=8

Depois já vai funcionar sem problemas, testado por mim, com o ultimo firmware no mediatech.

Sei que não é a thread sobre mediatech mas aproveitei a mesma para ajudar este user.

obrigado pela info. Mas na altura, ainda fiz isso (agr fico é na dúvida se fiz bem, mas tenho quase a certeza que sim pq aquilo já não aparecia como cd) e não resolveu à mesma - só dava qndo lhe apetecia que era coisa rara!
depois, não contente fui ao site da marca e ao meter o firmware da zte, pelas instruções indicadas, aquilo morreu de vez...
isto já foi há um mesito ou mais, tenho de telefonar pós gajos da sapo pra ver se me dão outra....
sabem se eles têm de outras marcas?
mas desde que fizeste isso a placa deu sempre sem falhar no router mediatech?! Eu só consigo sem falhas ma minha placa da vodaf a huawey (ou lá cm é q se escreve..) e220?! se calhar, mesmo antes de eu ter assassinado a zte de vez com o firmware ela já não andaria certa do compasso!
 
Pois, não sei se têm placas de outras marcas, mas podes sempre perguntar...

Relativamente ao funcionamento da placa no mediatech, fiz vários testes e funcionou sempre, até porque tenho duas ZTE 636, uma sem o modo CD e outra com, a com nunca deu e a sem funcionou sempre, sem falhar.

aquilo no xp era mesmo só ir ao terminal e inserir lá aquele código no sítio que eles diziam não era?! Já foi há algum tempo, mas tenho quase a certeza de ter isso feito bem e ainda assim não dar...e tb tinha no router o firmware (agr não tenho o nº de cabeça) mas era um que tinha saído há relativamente poucos meses - sei que era um nº superior ao firmware em que dizia que já suportava esta placa.
 
Se fizeres como diz a quote que meti ai não precisas do terminal, se calhar o ideal é antes disso fazeres backup do setup caso queiras usar a placa num PC que não tenha a placa instalada.

Usa o ultimo fw que está no site da mediatech que vai funcionar tudo bem!

Boas, estou aqui com o problema. Preciso de configurar um WL-500W com uma das seguintes placas:

ZTE MF628
Huawei E156G
ou
Huawei E169

Estou a usar o firmware WL500W 1.9.2.7-10-USB-1.71.trx.

Já fiz várias configurações com cada uma das placas e ate agora nada.

Onde se pode ver a lista de modems/pens compatíveis com o firmware do koppel já devo ter aqui informação suficiente para configurar a ZTE mf627 num asus wl-500gp V2 precisava mesmo de ter a certeza, é que já comprei um smc supostamente compatível com apenas uma actualização de firmware do router e ligar la a pen mas o sinal dava, a pen ficava a piscar como deve ser, luz do router sempre on mas a net ia morrendo até se apagar. Já ando louco com isto!! >(

Já agora caro schmusli:
O chato mesmo é a pen funcionar com o router, a rede é só configuração de APN e etc echo eu ;)

alguem por aqui ja conseguiu ligar um ZTE MF636 a um router ASUS WL-500gP?
Ando a tentar faze-lo a uma serie de dias, mas infelizmente nao estou a conseguir... O router reconhece a placa mas nao permite ligacao.

Ja segui as varias dicas que por aqui sao colocadas mas sem sucesso.

Se alguem pudesse tem esta solucao a funcionar, sera que poderia partilhar as configuracoes e respectivas alteracoes efectuas?

Malta, estou a desesperar...

Tenho um WL500gPremium e uma pen da Vodafone ZTE K3565-Z que não consigo por a funcionar com o router.
Tirei o pin ao cartão, removi o zero CD drive através do comando AT+ZCDRUN=8, que funcionou sem problemas...
Meti o firmware do Koppel (WL500gp-1.9.2.7-10-USB-1.71.trx), e as seguintes configurações:

> Password: vodafone

> APN: internet.vodafone.pt

> Dial Number: *99***1#

> USB device serial speed: 115200

> USB device location ID:
No Diagnostics Info, em USB devfs Devices, aparece:

Ou seja, o que percebo é que dá erro a ler a drive virtual do cartão de memória, e depois a ligação PPPD falha...

Alguma sugestão? Alguém que me ajude, please....

Ainda nao consegui por isto a funcionar, mas de qualquer forma deixo aqui o que já consegui perceber.

O erro pppd[143]: no device specified and stdin is not a tty é devido ao router não ter a indicação correcta de onde está localizado o modem... Isto podem alterar no USB Device Location ID. Notei que, caso a minha pen esteja na porta 2.qq coisa (ver Diagnostics Info), se coloco neste campo ou 0 ou 1 aparece este erro. Quando ponho 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, etc dá o erro de pppd[166]: Connect script failed, portanto imagino que este Connect script failed está um passo à frente do outro...

Espero que ajude alguém... Entretanto se algum de vocês conseguir colocar uma K3565Z/Vodafone a funcionar peço que coloque aqui as definições...

ZeroCD: not set (porque removi o zeroCD com o comando AT+ZCDRUN=8 ligando-me ao modem via telnet, creio que na porta diagnostics.)

Dicas:
Nos logs esqueçam o System log, demasiada treta e pouca informação.
O foco deve ser o Diagnostic Log, em particular USB devfs Devices, onde estão as portas que devem experimentar para o Device ID, e o PPP Chat log.
Se não aparecer nada no PPP Chat log devem ter falhado o Device ID. Também no system log isto vê-se se aparecer o erro PPPD [143]: no device specified and stdin is not a tty.

Agora que consegui tudo faz sentido, mas perdi umas horas valentes com isto...

Boas. Peço dsc s for um pco fora de contexto ms tenho uma huawei e220 inicialmente da vodafone q desblokeei e substitui o software pelo da huawei msm de forma a poder ligar qq rede sem ter d tar sp a instalar e substituir o software para cada rede..detecta redes introduz pins etc vodafone dps d actualizar configuraçao apn funciona, optimus n testado, tmn chega a parte de establecer ligação não da...ja tentei varias configuraçoes de apn q encontrei na net ms ate agora nada...alguem m consegue ajudar com os dadosda configuraçao necessarios como user name pass dial etc? obrigado
