Battlefield 1's CTE (Community Test Environment) is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, enabling players to test out new features and content ahead of release, much like Overwatch's PTR (Public Test Realm) and The Division's PTS (Public Test Server).
However, only Premium Pass holders can take part in Battlefield 1's CTE and try out features like the new Supply Mode, upcoming maps like Lupkow Pass and new weapons, while testing change and improvements in the offing for the game, like better horse handling, for example.
With Battlefield 1's In the Name of the Tsar expansion due to drop in September, anyone participating in the CTE will be able to get their hands on new weaponry from the upcoming DLC, while trying out new maps, vehicles and other content. But as a CTE participant, you're expected to provide feedback to the developers that will help stamp out bugs and other issues.
If you're interested in signing up for the Battlefield 1 CTE on consoles or PC, you can head to the 'more' prompt on the game's main menu and click on Community Test Environment. From there, simply follow the steps to get yourself signed up and hey presto.
