Plasma Beam!
Finalmente chegou! yupiii!!)

A Western developer has crafted a very Japanese RPG.
There is no shortage of Japanese style role-playing games on the Nintendo DS. American publisher and developer Graffiti Entertainment is hoping there's room for one more, though, and will deliver Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled this spring. At a glance you might think it's another classic 16-bit RPG being remade for the DS. But no, this is an all-new game being crafted in the style of those bygone days of gaming.
Black Sigil is set in the world of Bel Lenora, where most people are born with the ability to wield magic. Players, however, control the one dude in all the land who has no magic abilities. His name is Kairu, and as you might expect, he is a bit of an outcast. Making things worse, years ago this really evil dude ravaged the land, and that guy couldn't use magic, either. Kairu is constantly reminding people of this evil, and they tend not to trust him. Everywhere he goes, people are rude. Still, he has managed to become a knight, and he is better than anyone with a sword.
The game opens with Kairu sparring against the other knights-in-training. As long as they're using swords, no one can beat him. But as soon as they switch to magic, he is defenseless. The Duke, Kairu's superior, decides to send him on a lone mission to investigate the Spirit Shrine on the not-at-all ominous sounding Spirit Mountain (can we say "no?"), and so the adventure begins.
While in towns you go about the usual RPG business of talking with the locals, visiting shops to buy and sell new items, and barging into strangers homes to see if they have anything you can steal. Out in the overworld, you see a giant representation of your character strolling around from a bird's-eye view, a la Final Fantasy. Eventually you'll gain vehicles to traverse the land in. And, yes: in keeping with the old school RPG flavor, there are random battles.
Battles are turn-based, but enemies can move around the battlefield. The positions of your hero and his enemies are important, as certain attacks can damage multiple creatures within vicinity. But darn it all, some of these things don't want to stand still.
During our time with the game so far, we noticed a distinct lack of save points. You can quicksave at any time, but your file will be deleted when you return to it. Hopefully we'll find more points as we explore, or else this could be a frustrating adventure. (lol!? IGN at it's best? gotta save again, anytime? oh noes, oh crap!)
Chega a ser triste -_-'
