VDigi has announced it's VD-W2 VGA cable for the Nintendo Wii. According to reports, the cable is simply a small footprint Component to RGBHV transcoder housed inside the connector and is powered entirely by the Wii, including a Blue LED indicator to note it’s power status. The Maximum supported resolution is 640×480 @ 60Hz and VDigi claims that it works on all regions of Wii consoles. It is unclear if the TV out function works at the same time as the VGA out function.
