Cod para mim acabou no momento em a skill pura deixou de ser o principal factor em termos de multiplayer
Activision has announced that players who take part in the Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer beta later this month will get an exclusive in-game reward. The MP Private Beta Combat Pack includes a helmet, calling card, and an emblem which shows that you took part in the beta.
The MP Private Beta Combat Pack won't be available to players until the game releases officially on 3rd November. This is the second reward Activision has announced for pre-ordering Call of Duty: WWII the first being that people who pre-ordered the game would get an animated Nazi Zombies weapon camo.
Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer beta begins on 25th August on PlayStation 4 and 1st September on Xbox One. The game will be released on 3rd November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Set across Europe, Call of Duty: WWII will see the return of the D-Day Landings, as well as various missions set across the continent, a massive cover feature in September's issue of Game Informer has revealed. During the campaign, you'll impersonate a Nazi soldier, join the Allied effort in France, fight through Hürtgen forest while journeying to the Rhineland, and more.
The article notes that CoD: WWII is inspired by war movies like Saving Private Ryan, which will once again inform the tone of the game's opening D-Day landing mission, codenamed Operation Neptune. During this sequence, apparently there'll be a close-quarters battle with an enemy, described as "brutal" and "intimate", while chaos unfolds on the Normandy beaches around you.
Meanwhile, a mission named 'Wolf's Den' will have you donning the uniform of a Nazi trooper to infiltrate a German base (I'm fairly sure I've played this mission before in an old Medal of Honor, or something), during which time you'll have to behave properly and interact with enemy soldiers correctly to avoid being rumbled. This being a Nazi facility, you can expect all of the usual fascist iconography too.
"It was important for us to balance the authenticity of the game and era, and the dark notes that come with the genocide that the Nazis brought to bear," said Sledgehammer Games' Michael Condrey. "We need to balance and respect that but also recognise this is a piece of entertainment and not dishonour the loss of life that happened there." These symbols won't appear in multiplayer Nazi Zombies or COD: WWII's social space, as "it didn't feel appropriate; it didn't feel like it added honour to the cause," Condrey explained.
Call of Duty: World War II launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 3rd November, with a beta kicking off soon for anyone who pre-orders the game.
