CATALYST Windows XP 3.10

Instalei-os para ver como era e as diferenças são o facto de teres nos drivers opção para overclock, uma espécie de refreshlock e pouco mais. Estes drivers sofrem uma alteração dos drivers originais da ATI
 
Bem... como muita gente se apercebeu na LAN estes drivers deram-me a volta á cabeça!
1º o COD a correr ñ era mais do que um ecran vermelho com linhas
2º na segunda instalção dos drivers fiquei sem aceleração 3D.
3º instalações e desinstalações e continuava na mesma
4º ao fim de 40min com o pessoal todo a fragar no COD passei-me e instalei os omega baseados no 3.09 e ficou todo a nadar fininho e sem probs!

Conclusão.... ñ recomendado para as 8500.
 
Ja uso ha bastante tempo e nas "primeiras" versoes notava o UT2003 mais fluido

5- I have received various E-Mails asking about FastWrites, there is only one
answer to that: TURN IT OFF
The Radeon cards do support FastWrites and they will work with it on
(on some machines), but it is not recommended, there is NO SPEED gain
when using FW, and this option will affect your PC's stability a LOT.

*** IMPORTANT FASTWRITES UPDATE ***
An important info has come to my attention, if you have a Radeon 9600 Pro card,
regardless of the manufacturer, you MUST enable Fastwrites to make it work
properly, if not, you may experience crashes and lockups! (This is only a temporary
fix until ATI resolves the problem)

Instalei agora as Omega e tou btt satisfeito ... Tinha experimentado com as 3.7, 3.8, 3.9 e as Catalyst 3.10 nesta minha nova grafica (9800SE AIW) e com o mod tinha artefactos no 3dmark 2001, e depois d ter instalado as Omega 3.10... so tenho uns no chão no teste do jipe .... de resto ta tudo em ordem :D ... tou gostando da perfomance delas ...
