CODE VEIN is announced for release on major home consoles in 2018.

In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world, as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.

CODE VEIN is a third-person action RPG that finds players assuming the role of a Revenant. After stumbling into Vein, players are tasked to embark into the world with a companion picked from the various residents of Vein to uncover lost memories and an exit out of this new demented reality. The world of CODE VEIN is dangerous, full of vicious enemies and monstrous bosses to put players’ combat skills to the test.

Revenants also have access to Blood Veils, devices capable of draining the blood of their enemies in order to enhance their own abilities. Exploiting these enhanced abilities known as Gifts, players can change their form to increase their strength, weaken enemies, and utilize new weapon abilities with overpowered attacks. Utilizing the vast array of weaponry along with each character’s Gift, players can adapt and strategize to a variety of battle conditions that suit their play styles.

Code Vein Screenshots Shows Protagonists Mia and Yakumo, Big Bosses

Bandai Namco has released some new screenshots and details for Code Vein today, showcasing lead characters Mia Karnstein and Yakumo Shinonome, as well as two hulking bosses you'll face in the game when it launches for PS4, Xbox One and PC next year.

Mia Karnstein is a wandering female Revenant, who roams the land of 'Vein' with her younger brother, the only member of her family left. Doing anything it takes to protect her sibling, Mia wields a bayonet-style weapon that she uses to attack enemies from range.

Yakumo Shinonome, meanwhile, is also a Revenant and a former mercenary; a "faithful man who is good at taking care of others". Apparently, Shinonome is loved across Vein by others, conducting himself in a "cool and professional manner during combat."

Together, Mia and Yakumo will explore Vein in the upcoming third-person action RPG, fighting deadly enemies and giant bosses like the ones depicted in the screens below. Code Vein will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2018.

Gostava que tivessem colocado um artstyle mais cell-shadding do que este tom mais realistico pois parece-me que conbina com Dark Souls e não com este jogo, de resto parece-me um jogo que potêncialmente vou passar algumas horas a jogar.

Code Vein Screens Serve Up Multiplayer, Two New Characters

Bandai Namco has today dropped a couple of dozen new Code Vein screenshots, offering a first look at the game's online multiplayer mode and two new characters, Karen and Cruz. In Code Vein, you'll be able to request help from other Revenants or respond to such requests yourself, fighting the Lost together.

You'll be able to explore dungeons and battle enemies with your AI companion and another human player, which will no doubt prove invaluable if you're finding things difficult. You'll be able to communicate using gestures, stamps and voice commands, ensuring you can make the most of teamwork.

As for the two new characters, Karen is the older sister of Louis who was revived as a Revenant upon dying. She takes care of and supports Revenants in battle, while Cruz became "destruction incarnate" following a series of unsuccessful and horrific experiments conducted upon her in a bid to save mankind.

Code Vein will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2018. Check out some of the new screens below. You'll find all 24 images in the gallery here.

Code Vein Rumour Suggests July 2018 Release

Rumours abound that Code Vein could be launching this July, according to the company responsible for handling distribution of Bandain Namco games in Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania, 3H Distribution Oy. The rumoured date comes via an email sent out to press, listing release dates for titles it'll be distributing.

Naturally, Code Vein carries a 'July 2018' date on 3H Distribution's list, and the company is a rather reputable one too, also fulfilling distribution duties for the likes of 2K Games, Codemasters, Koch Media, Rockstar Games, Square Enix, Telltale Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Code Vein will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, hopefully in July 2018, as stated in 3H's list. Bandai Namco has yet to be forthcoming with an official release date, with Code Vein still tentatively pencilled in for '2018'.

A Bandai Namco Entertainment divulgou hoje mais screenshots Code Vein, um jogo que deverá ser lançado para PS4, Xbox One e PC em julho de 2018.

Code Vein vai conter animações pelo estúdio ufotable e no site oficial do jogo podemos ler:
