Cyberpunk 2077 Isn't Even in Alpha Yet CD Projekt Red CEO Confirms

CD Projekt Red CEO Adam Kicinski revealed in an interview with Polish site Bankier.pl that its upcoming sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 that was demoed at E3 this year is not even in alpha yet.

PCGamer ran the interview through Google translate to reveal that Kicinski described the current build that was at E3 as something that wasn't quite at alpha yet and that was shown was "not the final quality yet". The portion of the game that was showcased was the most polished part of the game that they currently have.

This is also partly why CD Projekt Red is yet to reveal the game properly to the public. The devs are likely attempting to get a build that's actually in the alpha stages first before taking a dive with showing everyone some early stuff that could potentially not make the final cut.

It's still up in the air about when exactly Cyberpunk 2077 will be heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but it sounds like we've still got a while to wait.
