NVIDIA Prepares Early Launch of G98 in December
NVIDIA will launch its new G98 GPU in early December according to DigiTimes. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) will both serve as foundries for the new chip. The 65nm-made G98 was set for launch in January 2008, a time-frame that is close to the launch schedule of rival AMD's RV620, but thanks to the buoyant sales of G80 and growing attention for the G92, NVIDIA is preparing to launch the G98 sooner than originally planned. The official name for G98 will be GeForce 8400GS. Concerned over a future ramp of GPUs, including the G92 for the mainstream market, as well as possible capacity shortages at TSMC, NVIDIA will also place G98 foundry orders at TSMC's rival UMC.

Vendor specific.
PC MicroWorks Corporation Releases Quad Core Black-Hawk XR5 Dual 8800GTX Notebook
PC MicroWorks Corporation – a leading professional grade computer manufacturer – released today its most powerful portable workstation to date, the 17-inch Black-Hawk XR5 Quad Core Super Notebook. The new XR5 is the first portable worldwide announced with the ability to house two of NVIDIA’s flagship mobile PCI express graphics units – the brand new Geforce Go 8800GTX cards in SLI mode. The new Black-Hawk also utilizes the breakthrough Intel quad core architecture previously available only in desktops and allows for more efficient multitasking, quicker encoding/rendering times, and faster overall system performance on the go. In addition to the quad CPU and dual video cards, the XR5 can house up to 3 SATA II hard drives in a RAID array and 4GB of 800 MHz DDR2 system memory. The new notebook will feature a custom carbon fiber top accented by piano black gloss finishes across the notebook to enhance the appearance and add to the exclusivity of the unit. The XR5 will be the most powerful consumer notebook for the 2007 holiday season, and will begin shipping in December with pre-orders being taken now.

Qual o factor que prevê que a g92 8800gt 512mb bata a ultra?
Clocks?
Queria dizer gts...my bad
G98-8400GS GPU-Z & Rivatuner screen capture pics
Today we got some screen capture about the upcoming D8M. we already have some talks about the card. Now Let’s see what the pics show us:
G98 version GeForce 8400GS GPU-Z screen capture
G86 GeForce 8400GS GPU-Z screen cap
The driver is 169.06. because GPU-z and the driver have limited support of G98, so the screen captures still show not enough information.
But we can sure that the frequency is 567/500/1400MHz(core/men/shader), more higher than G86 version. Notice the shader/core ratio from 2:1 up to 2.47:1.
What’s make us dizzy is GPU-Z show us the ROP of G98 is only one.
