WHILE I was on a plane yesterday, OCZ came out with the latest salvo in the memory speed wars, DDR-600.
Billed as PC-4800, or OCZ PC-4800 EL DDR to be more formal, it comes in dual channel kits, either a 512MB (2*256MB) or a 1GB (2*512MB). If you have a mobo that can run at a 600MHz FSB, your RAM is ready.
For both of you out there that can use it, it will run at 3-4-4-8 timings, and will surely ignite a new round of speed releases from everyone. In the meantime, I think OCZ just picked the absolute speed crown back up. µ
