Dell's XPS 700 desktop was launched in Europe last week, and today we see that it's available in the United States. The uniquely styled BTX case has a slightly forward leaning design, features self-tending drive doors and LED lighting which allows you to choose seven programmable colors (red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and purple). Cooling duties are handled by two 120mm temperature-controlled fans and a sealed short-travel thermal system.
The XPS 700 comes loaded with up to a 3.73GHz Extreme Edition dual-core processor, NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP core logic, up to 4GB of DDR 667MHz memory, up to 1.5TB of storage, AGEIA PhysX physics accelerator and variety of graphics options ranging from a 512MB Radeon X1900 XTX to dual 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX graphics cards.
Prices start at $1,940 for the XPS 700 and quickly escalate from there.
Also launched today is the XPS M2010 "mobile" PC. It's not quite a desktop and it's not quite a notebook. It's mobile enough that you could easily pack it up and take it along with you, but heavy enough as to make you think twice about doing so often. It also features a wireless keyboard with an integrated touchpad -- nice touch, Dell.
The 20.1" XPS M2010 folds up and features an integrated handle to make transport an easy affair -- that's if you consider its 18 pound weight to be a non-issue. It's powered by your choice of a Core Duo T2400, T2500 or T2600 processor and supports up to 4GB of DDR2 memory. A 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1800 graphics cards powers the 1680x1050 display while up to 240GB of storage is supported (via RAID-0) and an 8x DVD burner is included. Other features include four USB 2.0 ports, one Firewire port, an ExpressCard slot, DVI, S-Video, S/PDIF digital and analog 7.1/5.1 audio out, integrated 1.3MP webcam, eight integrated speakers and subwoofer and a 13-in-1 removable media reader.
For those of you brave enough to venture into new territory, the XPS M2010 starts at $4,000.

O ultimo monitor da DELL tinha um painel k n valia nada, spec n kerem dizer nada, tinha problemas de uniformização da luz/cor, tearing, banding etc.

Como tal a k esperar por testes de jeito.
