HomeLAN has posted a preview of Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna, the upcoming stand alone expansion pack to Gas Powered Games's hit role-playinga game that's being developed by Mad Doc Software. The preview is based on playing a beta build of the game and contains three new screenshots. Microsoft plans to release Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna to stores in November. Here is a taster:
In terms of gameplay, Legends of Areanna doesn't change much from the original game. You and your party are still hacking away at monsters, picking up gold, manna, health and items and generally having a good time taking on the over 100 new creatures in the expansion. There have been some refinements made to the game's interface, such as improved spell casting (you can now record and switch to any spell in your spell book instantly), better potion use (now potions can be given to their fair share of the party members) and better inventory management (this will now be handled automatically) Multiplayer users will be happy with the journal state of your character will be saved when you decide to leave a multiplayer game.
