Rotating Action Platformer 'Exception' Announced for Playstation 4

Traxmaster Software has announced that its upcoming rotating action platformer 'Exception' will be heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.

Exception is a combat platformer, which takes place in a computer that's being overrun by some kind of totalitarian malware. Players will be able to traverse through the timed byte-sized levels where they can rotate and move the map in order to find new ways to progress through them.

“Exception has this old school vibe with a modern rotating twist that takes advantage of today’s 3D technology. It’s a game which is easy to pick up and play and will bring joy for a novice gamer just as much as it will for a professional speedrunner,” said Will Traxler, Founder of Traxmaster Software.

Neon Platformer 'Exception' Dated for August Release

Upcoming Tron-esque platformer Exception has been given a release date of 13th August, developer Traxmaster Software has announced.

The game, first shown off back in June, sees you navigating a series of neon-tinted levels as you try and fight off a vicious malware, only with the ability to rotate and move the entire stage in order to progress.

There's also a new gameplay trailer to go with this announcement, which we've embedded below. Exception releases for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC on 13th August.
