Microsoft has announced a new program, Extended Play Download Days, which will see limited-time price drops for certain add-on DLC currently available on Xbox Live Arcade. The program will see price drops ranging from 25 to 60 percent for games like Oblivion, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Forza 2, Guitar Hero 3, and Beautiful Katamari. Here's the complete list of deals available:
Since it is the most expensive item on the list, the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion seems like the best deal, as it will now run gamers just 1600 MSP (or $20). But the deals on Guitar Hero trackpacks and Forza 2 car packs could also serve as a good incentive to get players back into those games.
The sale prices are in effect as of right now, and will run until the end of October.
