Bem encontrei isto pela net espero que ajude o pessoal e que nao seja repost

Rise up the speed of your Firefox Browser:

Open the configuration menu by typing in the following into the field where you normally fill in the URLs:

about:config

In the config menu you have to set up the following changes:

- network.http.pipelining (put “true”)
- network.http.proxy.pipelining (put “true”)
- network.http.pipelining.maxrequests put on 100
- network.http.max-connections 48
- network.http.max-connections-per-server 16
- network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy 8
- network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server 4

You save the changes by clicking the right button of your mouse somewhere on the screen and choose new -> integer from the menu. Now you have to write nglayout.initialpaint.delay into the popup and type in number 0 into the next window.

That´s it, now you are able to surf much faster threw the internet with your Firefox browser!

Estou a testar neste momento aqui com a net do hotel que deve ser uma net estavel, e para ja noto o forum mais rapido. Ha mais alguns testemunhos? Provavelmente deve ser do nglayout.initialpaint.delay mas algum guru que possa esclarecer-nos

"new -> integer from the menu" Isto corresponde a novo->inteiro ou novo->booleano ou novo->string?? É que no meu firefox apenas me aparece isto.

esstes valores estao no dobro daquilo que deveria ser ...
assim vai ficar mais lento, principalmente no que diz respeito a imagens!
entrando em qualquer site que tenha imagens, com esses valores, elas demoram muito a aparecer!

após eu ter feito isso ..as imagens demoram seculos a abrir ..sendo que algumas nem abrem mesmo ..
voltei a colocar umas configurações que ja tinha antes de forma a melhorar ..e voltou a ficar 5*!

exactamente ... isto apenas é bom pra texto ... pessoas k voa muito a blogs e tretas do genero ...
