Em relação às actualizações a Oneplus é provavelmente a melhor a seguir á Google.
A camera era das piores coisas dos Nexus.

não, pelo contrário, na gama onde se insere deve ser dos unicos de plástico.

This year would see some stiff competition in the top tier with Samsung just about to launch their Galaxy S8, Apple coming up with their 2017 iPhone for its 10th anniversary and Google upgrading their Pixel lineup. Talking about the Google Pixel 2, a lot of new details have emerged about its design, features and pricing.
The first Google Pixel came with a really unorthodox design with the use of metal and glass on the back, some liked it while some didn’t. some reports over the design of the next iteration are saying that Google will redesign the glass back of the Pixel 2 and remove the half metal while chamfered edges will be added for a premium feel.
Yahoo Finance reports that the Google Pixel 2 will feature thinner bezels and stereo speakers to take on Apple iPhone which came with this feature last year. It is obvious that the Google Pixel 2 will come with Android O out of the box bringing a host of new features.
The exact battery size of the Pixel 2 is not known, but Google is expected to include an enhanced battery to reduce battery drain. The Android O itself houses several customisations to offer a better battery life. The phone is expected to come with support for Quick Charge 4.0.
When it comes to the price of the Pixel 2, Forbes notes that Google will still position them in the premium segment, in fact, it is expected to cost $50 more than its predecessors. Google was said to be working on a budget Pixel phone, but we don’t have any information on what segment of the market it would cater or what specs it would carry.
Walleye, Muskie, and Taimen were the three codenames that had leaked a few weeks back. The first were being said to be for the 2017 Pixel phones while the third one could be a 7-inch tablet.

O Google Pixel 2 ainda nem saiu e já existe uma guerra a respeito da terceira geração do smartphone da empresa. Isso porque, aparentemente, a Google ainda não decidiu quem será a fabricante do dispositivo, que sai em 2018 se o atual padrão de lançamentos for mantido.
Isso porque a fabricante taiwanesa HTC, que foi responsável pelo primeiro Google Pixel e pela versão XL, só tem contrato para produzir mais uma geração do smartphone — ou seja, os que sairão em 2017. Segundo o site DigiTimes, são diversas marcas dos mais variados tamanhos na briga, incluindo LG, TCL, Coolpad e a própria HTC.
Quem está levando?
De acordo com um relatório do Commercial Times, a LG seria a favorita para vencer a disputa, mas nada está certo até o momento. Vale lembrar que a empresa sul-coreana manteve com a Google uma boa parceria de fabricação de dispositivos no passado recente, sendo inclusive a responsável pelo Nexus 5X.
Ao todo, 2,1 milhões de unidades dos primeiros dois Pixel foram enviadas para venda desde setembro de 2016 — um número que a fábrica controla de perto, pois a empresa optou por deixar o estoque do aparelho um pouco restrito. E vale lembrar que esse é um aparelho que pertence mais à Google. Apesar de a HTC ser a responsável pelos smartphones, o nome da fabricante quase não aparece em qualquer material de divulgação ou no dispositivo em si.

Google Pixel 2 pode contar com tela curva OLED produzida pela LG
Que Google lançará o Pixel 2 este ano não chega a ser nenhuma surpresa. A gigante de Mountain View informou mês passado que o sucessor do smartphone Pixel continuará sendo um aparelho de elite, mas a empresa tem planos de lançar uma versão mais barata em 2017.
Agora temos informações compartilhadas pelo site ETNews sobre algumas mudanças no design da nova geração Google Pixel. Foi informado que o novo smartphone topo de linha da Google contará com tela curva e painel OLED produzido pela LG.
Seria normal esperar que Google escolhesse Samsung para a produção destes painéis, já que a LG está mais focada na produção de telas LCD. De acordo com a fonte, Samsung estaria ocupada com a produção de painéis para o Galaxy S8, além do iPhone 8 que chegará este ano com tela OLED.

De acordo com a fonte coreana, Google estaria investindo US$ 800 milhões na LG Display para a produção de telas OLED para o Pixel 2. No entanto, não foi informado se Google manterá o padrão 16:9 presente na maioria dos smartphones ou se seguirá os passos da LG e Samsung e investirá no novo padrão 18:9.
