Bem...como nao axo nenhuma caixa externa (de jeito) para colocar lá um gravador, decidi-me atirar a um gravador externo. Já pesquisei mto...já li mto e como queria um gravador firewire, fiquei basicamente preso a estes 3 gravadores:

É óbvio que cada um tem a sua vantagem e desvantagem...
O LG parece mto bom mas como nunca tive uma drive LG, nao sei se sao gravadores pra durarem "uma vida", e tb nao sei como se comporta a assistencia tecnica...ou as releases de firmware.
O Freecom e um Nec3500A externo basicamente...já pude experimentar um Nec3500 e sao engraçados...conseguem excelentes speeds de leitura, mas continuo-os a nao axar grande coisa...mtos dvds que tinha para aki que nao consegui copiar no nec (erros de leitura), consegui num plextor.
O plextor...bem digam o que disserem, continua a ser um plextor. A assistencia deles e algo de extraordinario (ja pude testar) e saiem constantes firmwares para melhorar os gravadores...o preço...continua a ser o maior entrave...mas sao geralmente mto bons gravadores. Este 716 revela ser uma grande maquina, ao contrario do 712.

Basicamente estou inclinado para o LG ou para o Plextor...o Plextor custa mais ~100€ ... ainda e um bocadito, mas como ja o disse...nunca tive uma drive LG e tenho "medo" de comprar gato por lebre.
