GTAIII and GTA: VC Bundled on PS2, Xbox

Rockstar Games today announced what many a pundit has been speculating on for about a year now, that the Grand Theft Auto series would come to Xbox.

Interestingly enough, in Take-Two's fiscal announcement today, the company announced instead it would bundle the massive and award-winning Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City games in a single package, a "double pack," for those gamers who haven't already bought the games individually. The games are due for PS2 October 22 and Xbox November 4.

Unfortunately, Rockstar representatives were unable to return IGN phone calls prior to deadline. Rockstar has not made clear whether the "double pack" would include any technical or content differences between the two versions, or what the final price would be. IGN will have more soon.
