Multiplataforma Guilty Gear -Strive- (Arc System Works/ Bandai Namco)

A ASW confirmou que o jogo não vai ter cross-play entre consolas e PC, o que é pena, porque isto é algo muito benéfico para este género de jogos em particular.

Q. Is cross-play (matchmaking) between platforms possible?

A. We are planning to implement cross-play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions. There will not be support for cross-play with the arcade and Steam versions.

Pelo lado positivo, vai haver upgrade gratuito da PS4 para a PS5 e os DLC's serão partilhados.

Guilty Gear Strive's Offline Modes Unveiled and Detailed

Arc System Works has revealed Guilty Gear: Strive's six offline modes, including the usual suspects like Arcade, Versus, Tutorial, Training, and Survival, as well as Mission mode. As ever, Arcade will form the crux of the game, as you battle CPU-controlled opponents that change according to your skill level.

Arcade Mode will include fully-voiced dialogue in English or Japanese that changes based on your route taken through the mode, with a number of different scenarios available to discover. Versus Mode then enables you to pit your skills against local players, online rivals, or CPU fighters with adjustable skill levels.

Tutorial Mode runs you through the fundamentals of Guilty Gear: Strive, with "friendly banter" between Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, and appropriate advice that, again, pertains to a player's individual skill level. Training Mode, meanwhile, gives you arena in which to practice your moves without time or HP constraints, complemented by example videos and command lists. A new ‘combo recipe’ feature also enables you to save and share custom combos.

Survival Mode has you facing off against unending waves of CPU opponents until your character runs out of HP, as is traditional, with online leaderboard supremacy to fight for. Finally, Mission Mode offers a chance for players to delve deeper into game systems and combos in Guilty Gear: Strive, with challenges to complete enabling you to develop and polish your skills. You'll earn points in Mission Mode, as the game suggests which challenges to attempt next, be it taking on CPU foes or online competition.

You can find out more about Guilty Gear: Strive's offline modes here, ahead of the game's launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on 9th April 2021. Details on Story Mode and Gallery Mode will be coming soon.
