In Gwent, you’ll play against friends in fast-paced duels that combine "bluffing, on-the-fly decision making and careful deck construction." The game is played over a best-of-three series of rounds, as players sling spells and diverse units with special abilities and use tricks to deceive their opponents.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Closed Beta Delayed; Begins October 25

Dear Gamers,

At E3 we announced that we’d launch the Closed Beta of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game in September. Unfortunately, we feel we need some extra time with the game before we hand it off to you for testing. We know we can make a first impression only once, and want to be sure everything is ready before we blast off. Delivering a good game is more important to us than keeping a deadline. Still, that doesn’t mean we don’t realize that delays can be disappointing, and we apologize for making you wait. Closed Beta will now begin on October 25th.

Para mim é novidade. E é curioso porque ando a jogar esse jogo de cartas no próprio The Witcher e achei engraçado ver que vai sair como um próprio jogo.

Começou as 4, eu fiz uns 8 ou 9 jogos, muito fixe mesmo. Venha dia 27 xD

Joguei só um jogo mas deu para matar saudades. O outro perdeu, gastou todas as cartas na 1.ª round, acho que não sabia que existiam rounds. Mas pelos vistos em cada round recebemos mais cartas, diferente do gwent no Witcher 3.

De momento acho que é só no GOG. Tive que abrir o Galaxy para poder jogar.

Acho que o crossplay com o pc está a permitir com que faça jogos online sem ter gold? É que na FAQ menciona precisar de gold para jogar, mas adiante.

Têm modo de treino e deck builder. Assim à primeira vista a UI parece demasiado confusa. Para além disso a simplicidade do jogo do Witcher 3 foi-se, mas já era um pouco esperado. Existe uma série de habilidades que a grande parte das cartas têm.

É também um pouco difícil distinguir as cartas especiais, a borda dourada é pouco significativa.
