Multiplataforma Hitman (IO Interactive, 2016)

Hitman's July Update Includes a New Escalation Contract

IO Interactive has announced what's in store for Hitman this month with the upcoming July update. Among the new stuff set to be added is a new Escalation Contract in Sapienza named 'The Hamartia Compulsion', 15 new Featured Contracts and later in the month, Season One's final Elusive Target will commence in Marrakesh: A House Built on Sand.

The Hamartia Compulsion will be the twelfth Escalation Contract added to Sapienza, with five increasingly challenges to take on, including "a sticky pistol complication," while the final Elusive Target will present you with another unique contract to take on in Marrakesh's Summer Bonus mission.

A game update is also planned for July, the contents of which have yet to be revealed. Escalation Contract: The Hamartia Compulsion will be going live in Hitman on 7th July, alongside 15 new Featured Contracts. There'll be more info on the upcoming July update and Elusive Target soon.

Hitman's Final Elusive Target is "Mr. Giggles", Goes Live This Friday

IO Interactive has announced that Hitman's final Elusive Target will be going live this week, giving you 240 hours (that's ten days, folks) to kill 'The Entertainer', AKA 'Mr. Giggles' in Marrakesh. This will be the last Elusive Target available for Hitman's first season, so presumably, you won't want to miss out on this one.

If you've yet to play an Elusive Target, successfully completing this one can still earn you some neat rewards, such as Agent 47's stylish Summer Suit with Gloves. Finish it with a 'Silent Assassin' rating, meanwhile, and you can also get the Terminus Suit. Of course, it'll also contribute to any previous progress you've made too.

Hitman's 26th and last Elusive Target will be available from 14th July at 13:00 BST / 14:00 CEST / 05:00 PT, via the game's Featured Hub. As ever, you get one shot at an Elusive Target, and this being the last one, you'll no doubt want to be extra careful. Good luck!

Hitman's July Update Makes it Easier to Unlock Professional Difficult and Makes Combat More "Viable"

Hitman's July Update is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, implenting a variety of fixes and changes to the game, including improved load times for the Xbox One version, changes to combat to make it a "more satisfying" and viable option for all types of players, and an alteration to the criteria for unlocking Professional Difficulty.

Rather than having to achieve Mastery level 20 to unlock the higher difficulty level, you now only need to reach Mastery level 5. Other, more specific issues have also been rectified, some of which are only really prevalent during certain missions in certain scenarios. Furthermore, the achievements for Mastery level 20 have also been fixed, meaning they should now unlock properly.

Finally, Hitman's final Elusive Target goes live today too, with Mr. Giggles 'The Entertainer' available for the next 10 days in Marrakesh. You can check it out in the trailer at the bottom of this post. A new Elusive Contract for Sapienza and 15 new Featured Contracts are also now available, and you can get a rundown of the July Update 1.12.1 patch notes in full below.

July Update Release Notes

  • Xbox One Loading Times - After a recent update, Xbox One users reported to us that the game was taking longer to load than usual, especially when restarting a contract. We've looked into this and now have the Xbox One loading times back to where they should be. Thanks to our Xbox One players who reported this.
  • Combat Changes - We've made some changes to combat across the game. The intended result of these changes is to make combat more satisfying and viable for all players. Specifically, we have reduced the fire rate of NPC pistols, slightly increased how quickly 47 can 'snap' to the target NPC when 'aim assist' is toggled on, reduced the damage that 47 takes at mid to long distances and increased the speed that 47's health regenerates. We are continuing to monitor and adjust these values based on our own impressions and we're looking forward to feedback from our players when these changes go live. Please note that Professional Difficulty is not affected by these changes and still offers the 'Lethal Combat' that was promised.
  • Backstory: With an earlier update on June 23rd, the first iteration of our internal combat changes was unintentionally released. That first iteration simply reduced the damage output of NPC weapons and resulted in what some of our community have lovingly described as 'Tank 47'. The changes that we mention above (and will introduce with 1.12.1) are based on the combat values before the June 23rd update. This is important to mention because we want to be clear that we haven't made 47 more of a tank. Instead, we've looked at the combat experience that we've had in the game since launch and made the above changes to the long-standing values.
  • Professional Difficulty - We've changed the unlock criteria for Professional Difficulty from Mastery level 20 to Mastery level 5. All players that currently have Mastery level 5-19 on each location will automatically unlock Professional Difficulty after updating their game to 1.12.1 (July Update). There are no changes to Professional Difficulty other than the unlock criteria.
  • Excuse me, I found a weapon - We've fixed an issue that could cause guards to repeatedly drop weapons that they discovered on the ground. This issue was prominent on The Icon mission.
  • Bathroom Break - We've fixed an issue that could cause the toilet in the Marrakesh school to behave erratically after 47 kicks it onto Zaydan. This could occasionally result in 47's death. Seriously.
  • Cancelling Connecting - We've fixed an issue that could cause players to inadvertently cancel the 'connecting' prompt and enter 'Offline Mode'.
  • Opportunity Lost After Loading - We've fixed an issue that could cause the Opportunity Marker (the little light bulb) to disappear after a save/load cycle.
  • Trespassing vs Hostile Area - We've implemented a fix for a Known Issue from our June Update. The 'Trespassing' and 'Hostile Area' status messages on the mini-map now display correctly.
  • Maximum Mastery - We heard that some players have had issues unlocking the trophies/achievements associated with reaching Mastery level 20 in various locations. We've implemented a change so that the game will re-check whether you have reached level 20 when you launch the game and award the appropriate trophies/achievements.
  • Trophy Typography - We've made some necessary updates to the trophy descriptions on PS4; corrected a few typos and mistakes.
  • Unconscious Witness - We've also implemented a fix for the other Known Issue from our June Update. The 'Unconscious Witness' status on the mini-map is know displayed correctly.
  • Miscellaneous Fixes - We've fixed other minor issues across the board to keep the game in fantastic shape.

Última edição:
Hitman's Elusive Targets Might Be Finished, But There's Still New Content For August

While the Elusive Targets for Hitman's first season might be at an end, that doesn't mean there isn't more new stuff in the pipeline, as IO Interactive has announced new content coming later this month, including more Featured Contracts and a Challenge Pack.

On 11th August, 10 new Featured Contracts will arrive, offering new hits across a range of locations with a variety of targets to be dispatched. On the same day, a new Challenge Pack will also be coming to Hitman, titled 'The Art of Revenge'. This adds five new challenges to the game and the location mastery you can earn by completing them is higher than it is for regular challenges, making them a good way to earn any mastery unlocks you still have outstanding.

The Challenge Pack will add the five new challenges to Hokkaido, with a unique item available to unlock for completing them all. Then, later in August IO will be publishing Hitman's first ever player-curated Featured Contracts, promising a "fresh twist to the style of contracts that will be featured in the game". The first player curator will be Brazilian streamer Medietinha.

While there's no game update planned for August, September will bring more to Hitman in a similar vein to this, the "relative calm" giving IO the chance to "prepare for some exciting announcements," the dev states on its Hitman blog. Season Two, perhaps?

Hitman-New-Content_10-06-17-280x383.jpg

Mark this date on your calendars: October 24th. That’s the date when we will reveal brand new content for the game.

We’re going to let the announcement itself do all the talking, but there is one thing we want to clarify before then; this upcoming content is not “Season 2”. We’re saying that now to keep expectations in check.

So, save the date, let’s hope it doesn’t leak and we’ll see you there!

This month, we’re ending the year in style and inviting all players to Paris.

On December 15th, we will release the Hitman Holiday Pack that will allow anyone on PC, PS4 or Xbox One full access to our Paris destination. This FREE download will include the first major story mission from the game, ‘Showstopper’, plus all of the Escalation Contracts we’ve released for Paris, our ‘Holiday Hoarders’ mission plus the Paris Challenge Packs and achievements/trophies too! It will also allow you to play the future re-activated Elusive Targets in Paris.

Sound like a good deal? It is. That’s why the Hitman Holiday Pack is only available for a limited time, from December 15th to January 5th. Once you’ve downloaded it, Paris is yours to keep permanently. All of your progress and mission mastery will carry through to the full game when you choose to upgrade to the Game of the Year Edition we released last month.

You’ll find the Hitman Holiday Pack either through the new in-game store or by searching on Xbox Live, PSN or Steam for “Hitman Holiday Pack”, starting on December 15th.

Bem, recebi o jogo como prenda esta semana, mas ainda não comecei. Devo começar nas próximas 2/3 semanas. Na capa é "The complete First Season".
