Facebook is set to unveil some sort of mobile related product later this week, and sometimes correct, sometimes incorrect, evleaks recently posted a picture of a device called the “HTC First.” We wonder if this might be the alleged Facebook phone, which until now has been code named the “Myst.”
Engadget spotted the FCC filing on Friday and noticed the PM33100 model number, which apparently lines up with earlier Myst-based rumors. The phone packs LTE bands for AT&T, which makes sense considering the ChaCha landed on that carrier as the HTC Status. The phone isn’t packing super high-end specs, however, so we doubt this is going to be any sort of Facebook flagship smartphone.
A rumor from a few weeks back suggests the HTC Myst will launch with Android Jelly Bean, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and a relatively small 4.3-inch display with a 720p resolution.
