Instalação VM tools (WM Ware) em Fedora 8

Boas,

Criei uma máquina virtual com o Fedora 8, e tentei instalar as Vm tools, mas não consegui.. Tentei seguir este guia (ver em baixo) mas tenho a seguinte duvida:

Some Linux distributions use different device names or organize the /dev directory differently. If your CD-ROM drive is not /dev/cdrom or if the mount point for a CD-ROM is not /mnt/cdrom, you must modify the following commands to reflect the conventions used by your distribution.
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
cd /tmp

Ou seja, como eu não sei como é para o fedora não estou a conseguir fazer... alguem me pode ajudar?
