Here's a Peek at Intel's First Arc Desktop Graphics Card​

The company releases the image in today's event talking up the Arc laptop-focused GPUs.

After years of development, Intel is finally giving us a look at its first gaming graphics card in over two decades. The teaser video it released Wednesday focuses on the "A-series" Arc desktop GPUs, which are slated to launch in Q2 2022.
The one-minute clip uses computer-generated animation to show the graphics card materializing out of thin air, starting with the internal GPU chip. The rest of the components—including the memory, chassis, and fans—then come together, giving us a full look at the final product.

The result is a beefy PCIe desktop graphics card seemingly outfitted with four HDMI DisplayPort slots. It also features two cooling fans, which suggests the product is at least a mid-tier GPU.
The teaser arrived at the end of a Wednesday event officially launching the first Intel Arc GPUs for laptops. Unfortunately, the company didn’t provide more details about the desktop Arc graphics card. But the clip does mention the product will arrive in the summer.

Do que tenho andado a ver, lançarem uma gráfica com performance estimada em torno da 3070 (não se sabendo se ficará entre esta e a 3060, ou entre esta e a 3070ti), algures no Verão, quando as Love Lace estão logo ao virar da esquina...

Ou têm um plano qualquer a nível de posicionamento de preço, ou quem sabe se não poderão surpreender a nível de performance.. Who knows.

Acredito sim que venham a um preço bastante interessante.
 
Essa gráfica não tem 4 hdmis, tem 3 DP e 1 HDMI.

E sim, acredito que se tiver performance próxima da 3070 deve vir nuns atractivos 300-350$ para ganharem o tal market share.

Seria um óptimo upgrade para todos os que não compraram GPU durante a escalada do ano passado, por exemplo.
 
The reason that the speculation that the ARC A780 desktop GPU was accidentally (or purposely to raise interest) is that the power of the GPU is at 175W, which is relatively high for a mobile GPU variant to reach. The ARC A770M can get a GPU power level of 150W, but Intel's Deep Link technology, which allows dormant power from the CPU to be utilized in the GPU, could cause the ability to be higher with help. This type of power-boosting is similar to NVIDIA's Dynamic Boost.
 

Intel might still release a third Arc GPU with 16 Xe-Cores, new patches for Intel Graphics Compiler suggest​


Last week, Intel officially confirmed two Arc Alchemist processors: ACM-G10 and ACM-G11, those are new (and completely unnecessary) names for the DG2 GPU series.

Following a report from mid-March, Intel might still be planning a third SKU, the DG2 256. Such a name appeared in Intel Graphics Compiler for OpenCL and Ubuntu operating system in a patch released on the same day Arc Alchemist was announced for laptops. Interestingly, though, only two A-Series GPUs were shown on that day, either confirming that there is no third GPU or only those are used by the mobile series.

Clearly, Intel is still doing development around a third variant known as DG2 256 or ACM-G12, which either suggests this is a desktop GPU (the specs were not yet confirmed by Intel) or possibly a workstation processor which are expected in a third quarter.

Vão cair em cima do lancamento da nova geração nvidia/amd...
Nessa altura o mercado de usados vai estar inundado de nvidias 3xxx e amd 6xxx abaixo dos 350 euros (3080 a 400 euros 3070 a 300 euros )
A 300 ninguem vai pegar nelas...mais baratas nao sei se será possivel...sinceramente nao sei como vao conseguir market share.
Mais valia redireccionarem todos os recursos para a geracao Battlemage de modo a que essa pelo menos nao chegue no fim da geracao nvidia 4xxx/ amd 7xxx

Olhando aos recursos da Intel, acho que esta primeira geração vai ser pouco mais que uma base de testes e desenvolvimento para os drivers. Provavelmente vão chegar poucas unidades ao mercado destas gráficas e a maioria vai ser no mercado mobile e talvez OEM.

Ou seja, na pratica vão fazer as asneiras agora para terem uma base de drivers mais solida para battlemage ser um concorrente real.
Pelo menos é o que acho que faz sentido.
 
Falavam-se de 4 milhões de unidades nesta geração das ARC, mas não sei se estavam a contar com as dies de laptop. Além de que parece muito mas quando vemos os numeros da AMD e Nvidia vemos que não é assim tanto. Só a Nvidia vende às 10 milhões de unidades em alguns quarters.
 
Intel Arc A750 will cost $350, which is slightly above the MSRP of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, which costs $330
Intel Arc A580 will cost $280, which is also slightly higher than the $250 MSRP of the competing GeForce RTX 3050
Intel Arc A380 has an MSRP of $150, which is the same as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

Arc A750 and A580 are expected to be available between the end of May and early June, though exact sales dates may be different for each model.
The entry-level A380 model will launch later, with an expected release in July.

Vai acelerar as descidas da Nvidia e AMD para o msrp...quando isso acontecer ou a intel baixa mais ou não vai vender.
