Intel Intros New Core 2 Duo Processors

Intel will release three new Core 2 Duo processors in Q3 2007 with 1333MHz FSB, including E6850, E6750 and E6650.

Intel will also release Core 2 Duo E6390 in Q3 2007, E4200 and E4400 in Q2 2007.

Core 2 Duo E6390 targets to the market of E6300 and E6400. It is a value version of Core 2 Duo E6300 and E6400. With the same speed of Core 2 Duo E6400 at 2.13GHz, 2MB L2 cache and 1066MHz FSB everything is the same in Core 2 Duo E6390, except the availability of Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) and vPRO Technology.

On the other side, the two members from Core 2 Duo E4000 family to be released in Q2 2007 include E4200 and E4400. These are running at 1.6GHz and 2GHz respectively, with 2MB L2 cache and 1066MHz FSB.

Together with E4300 which will be released on 21 Jan 2007, Core 2 Duo E4000 family aim to replace Netburst Pentium D.

Lá se vai o multiplicador alto que tanto jeito dava para o overclock

Estranho, num lado dizem que o E4300 vai ter bus de 800MHz e noutro que o E4200 e E4400 vão ter bus de 1066...

O mal é que a Intel sabe dos OC que se faz nos seus brinquedos, ao aumentarem eles mesmos o fsb, sabem bem que vão limitar até que ponto o OC dos seus cpu's vão sofrer, pois por agora ainda não existe board que atinja altos fsb's.

O mal, é que mais fsb.....mais €€€€ para melhores mems
