Leak das specs do Meteor Lake Mobile:

Intel combines a CPU and GPU tile, which, according to the rumors, will be manufactured by TSMC in 3 nm. Keyword yield rate: a defective graphics unit (iGP) is thus ruled out in the future and you are much more flexible in the combination of CPU and GPU. However, all this is not new, but the following block diagram is. It also reveals further interesting details about the U, P and H models, which can thus probably be regarded as confirmed.

We can see the renewed division with P, E and LP E-cores on the diagram, whereby Intel writes of a 7 nm CPU here. However, this probably refers to the Intel 4 EUV process, while Intel’s Xe LPG graphics should be manufactured in TSMC’s 3 nm. Previously, the talk was mostly of Xe HPE, now the slide calls for LPG. It is also interesting that Intel only writes about PCIe Gen 5 port for the dedicated graphics in the H models, while the U and P models probably rely on Gen 4 at most. Up to 14 cores will be possible in the P and H versions (6x P and 8x E cores), whereas the frugal U version will have a maximum of 12 cores. It is also worth noting that Intel divides the E-cores into E- and LP (low power) cores, which internally amounts to a three-way split.
The iGP can have up to 128 Execution Units (EU), which is quite a lot, but probably needed to keep up with the Ryzen 7000 family. The memory configuration, which has to do without DDR4/LPDDR4(X) completely, turns out quite lush with up to 96 GB DDR5 5600 or up to 64 GB LPDDR5(X) 7467.
As already written, the chart refers to the mobile variants, while the slides for Meteor Lake S as the desktop variant have not been distributed yet. We’ll have to be patient here, if we use Alder Lake as a yardstick. So, as always, it remains exciting, because in theory it all reads quite tasty. Let’s just hope that Intel is closer to schedule this time and doesn’t delay much more.

3 níveis de Big Little. P Cores + E Cores + LP E Cores.
Intel 4 no CPU Tile, 3 nm TSMC no GPU Tile, 6 nm TSMC no SOC Tile.
24 MB L3.
128 EUs na gráfica.
VPU, Wireless e 4 portas Thunderbolt no SOC.

Those are 2 cores, unknown arch, they are on the N6 SoC tile and don't share cache/ring with the main big.shittle tile
The latter would make sense if the SOC tile has a low power Atom based island for connected standby, media complex, and VPU as some rumors have indicated. If these IP blocks are present on the SOC tiles, it would likely mean Meteor Lake has new power states and sleep states that could potentially dramatically save power.
https://semianalysis.substack.com/p/meteor-lake-die-shot-and-architecture

bool supportRayTracing() const
 {
     return isProductChildOf(IGFX_DG2);
 }
Regarding support for HW ray tracing on Meteor Lake GPUsIGC/AdaptorCommon/RayTracing/PrologueShaders.cpp , itIGFX_METEORLAKE is believed that they support it because of the addition of .
Other than that, in the code part that determines his HW ray tracing support, it seems that Meteor Lake GPU supports it as well as Alchemist / DG2 and Ponte Vechhio because there is no change .
https://www-coelacanth--dream-com.t...=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=pt-PT&_x_tr_pto=wapp

Pelos patchs do Meteor Lake no Intel Graphics Compiler (IGC), o iGPU do Meteor Lake irá suportar Ray Tracing.

EDIT: Versão 6P+8E do Meteor Lake:

O interposer é Intel 22 nm. CPU Intel 4. IO e SOC die a 6nm TSMC.

  • Meteor Lake-S 22 (6P + 16E) / 4 Xe Cores / 125W TDP
  • Meteor Lake-S 22 (6P + 16E) / 4 Xe Cores / 65W TDP
  • Meteor Lake-S 22 (6P + 16E) / 4 Xe Cores / 35W TDP
  • Meteor Lake-S 14 (6P + 8E) / 4 Xe Cores / 65WTDP
  • Meteor Lake-S 14 (6P + 8E) / 4 Xe Cores / 35WTDP
https://wccftech.com/intel-14th-gen...ow-lake-s-24-cores-desktop-lga-1851-platform/

Meteor Lake, our first disaggregated CPU built on Intel 4, remains on track for the second half of the year. And with MTL progressing well, it’s now appropriate to look forward to Lunar Lake, which is on track for production readiness in 2024, having taped-out its first silicon. Lunar Lake is optimized for ultra-low power performance, which will enable more of our PC partners to create ultra-thin-and-light systems for mobile users.

Mehh... 🤔

Intel has also confidentially stated that they are manufacturing ready for EUV lithography in their Intel 4 process node. We don’t really believe them because internal documents we obtained show Intel’s first high-volume product utilizing EUV, Meteor Lake, has been delayed yet again, with “ready-to-ship” dates delayed until Week 52, 2023 at minimum. This suggests that Intel is facing challenges in implementing a production-scale design into an EUV process technology.

There may have been some changes in Intel’s product planning for desktop computers. The previously rumored Meteor Lake-S, which was expected to launch in the first half of 2024, may be renamed Arrow Lake-S and paired with the Intel 800 series chipset. Both Meteor Lake-S and Arrow Lake-S use the Intel LGA 1851 socket.

According to the source, Arrow Lake-S will maintain a maximum 8P+16E core configuration, while the 6P+16E configuration for MTL-S will be canceled.

The Intel 800 series chipset includes three chipsets: Z890, B860, and H810, while H870 has been canceled. W880 and Q870 are targeted at entry-level workstations and commercial markets, respectively, and both support Intel vPro technology.

Arrow Lake-S will fully support DDR5 memory, with a maximum memory speed of DDR5-6400 MT/s and a maximum capacity of 48GB per module.

It has been confirmed that the previously reported change in PCIe channel numbers is correct. The Z890 platform can have up to 60 Total HSIO channels, including 26 from the CPU and 34 from the PCH. The B860 and H810 platforms have a maximum of 44 and 32 HSIO, respectively.

The DMI 4.0 channel numbers for Intel Z890, W880, and Q870 are 8, while B860 and H810 only have 4.

It is unclear whether these changes in desktop computer planning signify that Intel’s 20A process has completed relevant processes, as Arrow Lake-S uses this process. The expected launch date is in the first half of 2024.
https://benchlife.info/intel-arrow-lake-s-might-replace-meteor-lake-s-with-lga-1851-in-2024-h1/
