Everything you need to know about Rash



Hey Dudes & Dudettes! We are stoked to announce that Rash from Battletoads will be a fighter in Killer Instinct Season 3, which we’re sure you’ve heard by now is set to release in March 2016.

You have all been instrumental in the success of Killer Instinct, and as a special thank you we wanted give you an early chance to try Rash and help us test his signature moves like Big Boot, Speederbike and Wrecking Ball ahead of Season 3’s March 2016 release.

You can play Rash starting TODAY, August 4, 2015, and you can continue to do so until the test period ends on September 8, 2015 at 12am PDT. That’s over a month of Battletoad-time!

Of course, the goal of this test is to deliver the best possible Killer Instinct experience ever, and your input is absolutely vital. Have feedback about Rash? Tell us your thoughts in the forums, or feel free to tweet us your questions (we’re @KillerInstinct, but you already knew that).

How can I get access to Rash?Rash is available to all Killer Instinct and Rare Replay owners. If you’ve purchased any piece of Killer Instinct content, including Season bundles, characters, accessories, colours, or even KI Gold you have instant access to Rash. Rare Replay players – just launch the “Battletoads” game in Rare Replay to unlock the first achievement “Do You Have Battletoads?” Rash should now be available in the character select screen of Killer Instinct.

How long is the Beta Test available?Rash will be available for download from August 4, 2015 (9:30PDT) to September 8, 2015 (12am PDT).

Is this Rash’s final look?No way dude! You’re getting an early look at Rash, so his animations, moveset and appearance are not final.

What are Rash’s moveset and controls?Battlemaniac Beat ‘Em Up CombosRash can automatically perform combos by mashing Light Punch or Light Kick. He even automatically recaptures the opponent if they are airborne! How cool is that?!

Rash Bash – Back + HP.Rash bashes opponent with an overhead attack, leaving them with a severe headache!

RUN! – > > (Hold)Rash is always ready for a fight and runs towards his enemies.

Wicked Tongue – All 3 Punch Buttons or LB on the Xbox One controllerRash can zipline in any direction when his tongue makes contact with a wall or opponent. Wicked Tongue can also be used to eat most projectiles and gain Shadow Meter. Om nom nom nom!

Big Bad Boot – QCF + Any KickRash kicks the opponent in the face with a spiked big boot. Respect the Boot!

Wrecking Ball – QCB + Any KickRash morphs into a wrecking ball and swings across the stage. Causes a wall splat against grounded opponents, and a hard knockdown when the opponent is airborne. Has 1 point of armor because he’s one tough dude!

Battering Ram – QCF + Any PunchRash sprouts ram horns and charges towards his opponent.

Turbo Tunnel (Activate Instinct Mode with HP + HK)Summons a Speeder Bike from out of nowhere! Damages the opponent on impact. Wreck your Speederbike? No problem! Rash can summon another one by pressing HP+HK again while in Instinct.

"Finally! What a way to ring in December, right? We’re so happy to finally be able to bring you Shadow Jago’s trailer, and even better, a release date for the “newest” character coming to KI.

Of course we must reiterate that YOU made this possible. Those aren’t just hollow words to us. The Community Fund Bundle was an overwhelming success, and we get to now deliver Shadow Jago’s unique moveset to you!

You’ll notice in the video that Shadow Jago is available to purchase from December 18th-January 15th. That means that if you already attained Shadow Jago through either the Community Fund Bundle or via Xbox Live Day One Gold, you have access to him starting on December 4th. Enjoy the 2 weeks of exclusivity, and make sure to do as much damage as you can while your opponent takes the brunt of your unyielding attacks.

If you do not own him, get ready. You will be able to purchase him during the dates listed. Once he goes away, there’s no promise that he will be available again. Don’t let it slip by.

Killer Instinct Community Fund Raises $100,000 for Tournaments, Shadow Jago to Become a Full Character

The Killer Instinct team would like to extend a big thank you to our community, who raised $100,000 in tournament funding in less than 72 hours!

On April 29 when we launched our newest character, Cinder, we also announced that 100 percent of digital purchases in Killer Instinct would go directly into a tournament fund, up to $100,000 or until May 14. Fans blew us away by helping us meet our goal faster than we had imagined, and we’re happy to announce that we’re contributing to a number of tournament prize pots, including a $50,000 prize pot at EVO, with the remainder distributed across a number of online and offline tournaments, such as CEO and Combo-Breaker, coming up on May 22 in Chicago, IL.

To celebrate the crowdfunding effort, we also released the Shadow Jago character in a special Community Bundle. Shadow Jago had only been available on Xbox One at launch and is something our players have been asking for. To thank our fans for helping us meet our $100,000 goal, we are developing Shadow Jago as a real character later this year – complete with his own move set, balanced for competitive play!

Killer Instinct players can still purchase Shadow Jago as part of the Community Bundle for $19.99 until May 14.

Tenho lido sobre o jogo desde que anunciaram nos GWG e estou a gostar, ja pus a sacar o jogo base para me ir habituando!

É preciso sacar 4 coisas separadas. Jogo,combo breaker add-on,ultra edition add-on e para quem estiver numa de nostalgia o Killer Instinct Classic.
 
O jogo Killer Instinct: Season 3, a lançar pela Microsoft, para Xbox One e PC, a 16 de Março de 2016, como já foi noticiado pelo Daimon, será exclusivamente para o Windows 10, no computador, tal como versão PC do jogo Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

No Twitch, Adam Isgreen, director criativo do Killer Instinct: Season 3, da Microsoft, revelou q relativamente à versão Season 3 do Killer Instinct que:

  • será lançada em Março de 2016;
  • exclusivo Windows 10 (no PC);
  • uma actualização para o Dojo Toturial;
  • Kim Wu and Tusk aparecerão no lançamento, e terão skins retro;

  • mais personagens serão disponibilizadas no lançamento do jogo, para lá das já referidas acima, e o número de lutadores novos será maior do que o da versão Season 2 do Killer Instinct, a quando do lançamento;
  • todas as personagens antigas foram retrabalhadas, para compensar as novidades da Season 3, duas delas com alterações profundas. Foi anunciado que nenhuma destas duas personagem é Glacius, Aganos e Shadow Jago;
  • embora ultimate combos para todas as personagens não estejam confirmados, é possível que todos os venham a ter;
  • mais informações serão reveladas durante o evento PAX South em Santo António, nos Estados Unidos, que decorrerá de 29 a 31 de janeiro;
  • mais community bundles serão realizados esta temporada, semelhantes ao do Shadow Jago, com os proveitos a servirem para financiar torneios de Killer Instinct e o desenvolvimento posterior do jogo, pelo que o director criativo exorta a que os fãs se façam ouvir.
Mais novidades para a PAX South Santo António.
