iMac Pro to feature A10 Fusion coprocessor, possibly for always-on ‘Hey Siri’

According to information available via the BridgeOS 2.0 software package from Apple, it appears that the iMac Pro will feature an ARM coprocessor in the form of an A10 Fusion chip. This would mark the first time that a Mac has used an A-series chip designed by Apple.
Troughton-Smith notes on Twitter that the A10 Fusion chip would let “Apple experiment with tighter control” of macOS, without frustrating developers and users.
Furthermore, he explains that the A10 Fusion chip in the iMac Pro could be used for always-on “Hey, Siri,” a feature that’s currently missing from the macOS version of Siri. In fact, Troughton-Smith says in appears that the chip even runs when the iMac Pro is completely shut off.

Sim, não disse que estavas errado mas achei engraçado teres apontado o modelo exacto que aparentemente vem mesmo no iMac Pro.
Realmente há imensas possibilidades com a "mistura" do x86 e ARM e mesmo dentro o x86 vão ser tempos interessantes no ecossistema Apple.

As Apple did with the iPhone X, it’s given some YouTubers early access to the iMac Pro. Marques Brownlee has one of the first videos out. He says that Final Cut alone isn’t enough to spin up the fans, which is an okay first sign (although Final Cut isn’t as demanding as Premiere, which is much more widely used). Isso, ou um SoC e um CPU x86 a trabalhar mão a mão, e é ativado o melhor consoante a tarefa (assim como nos Macbook Pro's de 15'' é usada a gráfica integrada ou dedicada consoante a app).
