Ghost Rider Confirmed For Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Capcom has confirmed that Ghost Rider will be joining Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's growing roster, with the flaming skull-headed Spirit of Vengeance pictured fighting Darkstalkers' Morrigan on a variant cover for issue #4 of Marvel's current The Defenders comic book series.

Ghost Rider will make his debut at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany later this month, Capcom stated on its official Marvel vs. Capcom Twitter feed, so presumably we'll get to see some gameplay of the latest character addition in action. Also, this reveal seems to indicate that May's roster leak might be only a partial list, or simply inaccurate, as Ghost Rider doesn't appear in the rundown.

That means there's hope for the X-Men appearing in the game yet. We can but hope, eh? Whatever the case, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 19th September 2017. You can see more of the latest roster additions here.
