Wii Monster Hunter Tri (Capcom)

Teve reviews baixas porque o jogo também tem o seu lado negativo. Desculpa lá a brusquidão mas não gosto de ler esse tipo de linearidade.

Basicamente tu no jogo és um caçador que anda pelo mundo a caçar monstros. Tens quests tipo "matar 3 bichos verdes" e quests de boss em que matas os wyverns especiais. Depois tens todo aquele vicio de fazer upgrade ao teu equipamento, o bichinho do "deixa-me so matar mais um para conseguir fazer a espada xpto". Até agora foi tudo bom né?

Agora vem o lado mau.....O jogo na minha opinião está pensado para o multiplayer. A partir de uma certa altura começa a ser muito dificil progredir sozinho e a conseguires acaba por ser tipo "após 30000 tiros que duraram 4 horas de penosa repetição o gajo caiu". Depois o sistema de combate é pobre: ataque forte, ataque fraco....não há muito espaço para a imaginação.

Acredito que a jogar a 4 seja muito divertido, mas em single player achei o jogo extremamente repetitivo, e com um nível de dificuldade inapropriado para um jogador sozinho. Num jogo que não tem opção de multiplayer via internet é a meu ver inaceitavel. Pode ser que na Wii este factor venha corrigido.

Depende um pouco do tipo de jogador que és. Se és daqueles que adoram passar horas a executar tarefas repetitivas devido ao "bichinho do upgrade" então o jogo é para ti. Se não....então se calhar é melhor procurares jogos com melhor mecanica.

Para mim pessoalmente o MH da PSP (aquele que joguei) é um jogo para 7.5-8

Eu concordo contigo, aliás essa seria a nota que lhe daria. Estava mesmo era a referir-me aquelas reviews que andaram bastante por baixo.

Capcom says sorry for Monster Hunter on Wii

November 02, 2007 - In the latest edition of Japanese magazine Famitsu, Capcom's publicity department has apologised to PlayStation 3 owners that may have bought into Sony's new console following the initial announcement of Monster Hunter 3 for the platform. The company advised them, however, that they should wait for further announcements in the series.

When asked specifically whether it was possible that the series could still come to the PlayStation 3 - despite Monster Hunter 3 recently being moved exclusively to Wii - Capcom insisted it had a multiplatform strategy and thus couldn't deny the possibility.

Further games in the series could also appear on the PSP, Capcom said, because the portable series has an important position within the company.

O jogo parece ter um grafismo brutal e se este grafismo se aliar a uma boa jogabilidade,acho que vou ter de comprar mais um jogo para a Wii...:002:

1up: Monster Hunter 3 was recently announced for the Wii. What is your honest opinion regarding this announcement?

Hirai: It is my understanding that it is up to the game companies to make business decisions on which platform to release their titles. The series has helped in the success of PS2 and PSP. Capcom has plans to release Monster Hunter Portable 2G for the PSP in March ‘08 [in Japan] so we hope to continue our partnership with the company.

Serei o único a achar que o que dizem não faz sentido? Não há duvida que a Capcom não vai nem está a abandonar a PS3... Mas a perda de um exclusivo como o Monster Hunter 3 não foi propriamente pelo sucesso que está a ter, ou mesmo... voto de confiança na plataforma.

Tidbits do Monster Hunter 3 sair fora do Japão:

The Monster Hunter series in Japan is quite a sales phenomenon -- one in five PSP owners have a copy of the game, according to Capcom. The same can't be said for North America, whose enthusiasm for the title has been noticeably less.

Capcom gave us a rather lengthy statement on the issue (which we've printed after the break), but in a nutshell: the publisher is planning "a significant marketing program" for the Monster Hunter brand over the next two years in the west. "While we have not made specific announcements regarding Monster Hunter 3 in North America (or Europe, for that matter) to date," said the statement, "you can bet we'll be talking more about it in the future."

It's no secret that, in Japan, Monster Hunter is a phenomenon along the same lines as Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh; One in five PSP owners in Japan has a copy of one of the Monster Hunter games! You can see people playing it everywhere; on street corners in Akihabara, on the train, waiting in line to get into the Capcom store at TGS, on school campuses (not during class, mind) and on and on. The publishing company that puts out Famitsu released a Monster Hunter strategy guide that was over 1000 pages!

Outside of Japan, the series hasn't really caught on in the same way. We've done respectable business with the games we've released so far on PS2 and PSP. We certainly haven't posted numbers in North America as they have done in Japan – Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for the PSP has sold in excess of 2 million units there – but the games have done well.

That being said, Capcom is going to be making a major commitment to the Monster Hunter brand over the next two years in the west. Expect to see a significant marketing program dedicated to educating and enthralling gamers of both casual and hardcore natures. We're not going to let up until there are as many people playing here in North America as there are in Japan! While we have not made specific announcements regarding Monster Hunter 3 in North America (or Europe, for that matter) to date, you can bet we'll be talking more about it in the future.

[Wii] Monster Hunter 3

It was assumed that Monster Hunter 3 was going to be a PS3 title. Then something happened, and the eagerly awaited game ended up as a Wii title. That we know. Kotaku reader and Kotaku Tokyo Party attendee Matt points out something interesting: MH 3 was ranked higher on Famitsu's Most Wanted charts as a PS3 title. (The "Most Wanted" chart tracks upcoming games that are, well, wanted by gamers.) The PS3 version was listed as the sixth most desirable upcoming game. This data was collected between September 4th and October 4th. The Wii version was announced and for the next two issues, Monster Hunter 3 was not charted. The game then popped up again based on data collected between October 19th and October 25th. MH3 for the Wii came in at twenty-first place. But don't worry! Monster Hunter will totally do great on the Wii. The question is: Would it have done better on the PS3?

Pelo que percebi os developers chegaram À conclusão que desenvolver o titulo para a ps3 teria um custo superior ao budget então para nãoi acabarem com um jogo mediocre, decidiram lançar para a wii que tem um custo de desenvolvimento menor, assim passa um exclusivo ps3 a um exclusivo wii.

A Capcom vive para o dinheiro, logo lança os jogos nas plataformas que acha que lhe vão dar mais lucro. A Capcom não fez nenhum casamento com a Sony por isso não tem obrigações de nada...
 
Isso é mesmo verdade?? Hmm...

A Wii com um exclusivo High Budget... boa! Não é que o jogo seja de minha preferência, mas isto não é mau sinal...
